"Very good, but lacks a few things..."

This game is very good in general, and is a game only somebody a true junky would love. It is long and taskful, and it pains you with trying to find things in a maze of fire or rock. Some of the ice levels are just to long, and they don't allow you to save when needed. If you have the time to appreciate a game that will put you to the limit, and leave you 3 months behind the world to complete it, this game is for you.

The Graphics
The graphics in this game are actually not all that bad, for the amount of processing it makes the PS1 endure. All the monsters are great, and they get more numerous throughout the game. With more monsters, you need more experience. That makes on have to go back, and destroy something. The bosses in this game are all similar, which is a bit annoying, but is easy to get over.

The Sounds
The sound in this game seems to have been made very quickly, and is not very good. Again, it does to contribute to the gameplay in a huge way, as it is sometimes distracting, and others, lulling. Sometimes it seems as it is a NES game. Others, a masterpiece of pingy noises. The sounds is by far the worst aspect of this game.

The Gameplay
The gameplay in this game is great. There are a few times, where I wish this was that and that was this, but overall it's great. The fact that you have different level turbo attacks is awesome. The controls in general, are ok. A bit stressing at times on the fingers, though.

What I wished it would have
This game is lacking save points. It took me forever sometimes because I'm a busy person, and can't save within 5 or 10 minutes, so it leaves me to shut off the game, often losing 3 levels because I don't save alot. Sometimes, though, this game make you frustrated with lack of commands. Imagine trying to go somewhere, but you can't because your guy won't climb over a rock. Another thing, is 2 player. I played this game with my brother, and we 100%ed the game together. After that, I played by myself, and I was back to the start. What's up with that?

One last thing I have to say is that I love this game. After playing this level, it seems alot like that level, but in a whole different way. It keeps gaming to a maximum, but not being wild. The secrets in this game also allow one to keep going.
