"Meh.... an okay game"

Ok, I'll start from the top. This game is a less sophisticated and poorer version of Roller Coaster Tycoon although Roller Coaster Tycoon is a cheep rip-off yet more successful version. Meh... it's an okay game considering it's only for PS1. I have a Ps2 and I play it on my Ps2, and I like it, if there is a game your looking for to really kill time, this is the game.

And Meh, so what, there might be better games out there that are similar, but they are all cheap versions of this one. The landscape and the theme of these parks are more captivating and more unique. Each ride ties in with the theme unlike Roller Coater Tycoon where the rides randomly accessorized with features making it not really fit in with the proper theme.

The one thing that does bug me, is the music and the enjoying sounds!!! The background music is probably a 2 minute, not even, song that just repeats itself over and over again! The sound is the same, when ever the guy reminds you, or explains to you what you have to do next, it gets annoying because that's all he says! But meh... all PS1 games aren't perfect.

The controls are real easy, well this isn't the type pf game where you need to have a good button layout because it's not a reflex testing game for skill. Because you are unable to use a mouse, the layout and menu controls are difficult. It's extremely complicated and hard to get the hang of the menu set up. One of the first reasons why I never played it for the first couple of months I got it. It's difficult to understand.

Now for those kind of people who aren't familiar with these types of games, all you do is build a ride, manage it, and watch it grow. Then you continue to do that making a park, then you become in charge of the economics of your park and the placement of your rides. Watching the time pass you can add entertainers and security workers, and mechanics to increase the amount of costumers. Of course there will be problems such as rides breaking down. You can also hire researchers to design better rides to attract more costumers.

This game really isn't so bad if you think about it. I guess I'm just being too hard on it because I'm marking it at PS2 standards. So I'll give it a 8 out of 10 for now, really this game wasn't a failure, it was a successful game, that never became popular.
