"Scarier then all the RE titles combined!"

I have played a lot of survival horror games in the past, and I have to admit that AITD 4 kicked the crap out of all oF them! The music, sounds, and monsters made the game just like a scary movie, only you conrol the fate of your character. This game is definately a must have for all Resident Evil or Silent Hill fans! I highly doubt that you will find a game scarier than this one! To give the game its full effects, wait until midnight, turn out the lights, and crank up the volume! Can you survive this nightmare?

Graphics: 7/10
For a Playstation title, the graphics for this game were pretty damn good. The characters weren't to blocky, and the scenery was the most realistic thing I have ever seen. Even though the characters' mouths didn't move, it won't make a difference on how good the game is. However, the game is extremely dark in most areas. You'll need a lot of darkness in the room to see what your doing, but the game is worth the inconvenience!

Story: 10/10
You get to choose from Aline Cedrac of Edward Carnby to play as. The game will be extremely different for both characters. The game could be scarier, harder, or even longer, depending on who you choose. Carnby went to Shadow Island to investigate the death of his best friend. A man named Charles Fiske. Aline tags along to speak with professor Obed Morton. Aline is trying to find out who her father is as well as her past. Also, the weapon selection may change for the character you pick.

Controls: 8/10
If you've played a survival horror game before, such as Resident Evil, you will know how much of a pain the controls are. However, it should not take you too long to get used to them. It is important to know the controls well for this game. This is because you will find yourself in tight situations and will have to decide whether to attack or run.

Replayability: 9/10
If you beat the game with one character, you will probably want to play through the game a second time as the other. If you do this, you will discover and understand more of the story and what is going on at the same time with the other person. Twice the fun means twice the horror, after all!

Final Recommendation:
Get your ass in the store, buy the game, and play it. End of story. However, if you're the type that doesn't like having to search around and get scared when you least expect it, you may just want to rent the game first to see if it is for you. On the other hand, if you are a survival horror fan, this game is, without a doubt, for you! You won't want to miss out on the latest addition to the series!
