"An over-hyped Bond game, but still has a coupla good points........"

When I first saw Tomorrow Never Dies advertised in many random toy and video stores, I got so excited I felt like buying it then an there because I am such a sucker for all the hype on the back of the box. But then I actually got the game, and let me tell you what a disappointment it was.

GRAPHICS: Not bad, not good. Certainly not as good as they could have been, but pretty bad, too. Sometimes, if you are up against a wall, your limbs sometimes go through the wall. Bond also seems a bit grainy, and so do the rest of the characters and enemies. And what was with, in the Pressing Engagement, when I had to open the safe hidden behind the painting to get the hidden encoder, I could see the encoder before I actually got it?? THAT was just plain messed up, along with most of the rest of the graphics of this game.

SOUND/MUSIC: The best points of the game. I love the opening Bond movie and theme song, and I also love the music all during the game. The sounds can get annoying sometimes, but they are pretty cool and run smoothly for most of the time. These are, seriously the best things of the game.

CONTROLS: In my opinion, along with most everyone others, this is the worst part of the game. Choppy and not well-designed at all, the control system of Tomorrow Never Dies is absolutely horrible and inexcusable. For example, if you are standing somewhere, anywhere, and the camera zooms in to a queer angle, a bad guy could be unloading his AK47 into your back and it would take you about five seconds and some major damage for you to realize it. That's another bad point of the game, the camera angles. Quite a few times, when I was fighting Carver, the camera angle would zoom in such a way that I could not see or hear Carver, therefore he could be blasting my little head off and I couldn't do a darn thing about it!

DIFFICULTY: Not incredibly difficult. There are only ten levels (which majorly sux, because I want to get my money's worth for the $50 I spent on this sucky game), all of which increase slightly in the difficulty level of each. The enemies all have pinpoint accuracy, even when some 300 yards away from you, which makes it very difficult, especially when on 007 mode.

BUY/RENT: Neither, unless you're a diehard gamer, but even then I'm not sure you'd want TND. This game just plain sucks, and the cinematics/FMV sequences are so bad that you can see the polygons that make the characters up, kinda like Tomb Raider (which isn't pretty at ALL!).
