Rayman 2: A game for those who are desperately bored

Rayman 2 is a decent game, in comparison with some other games I've played.

Graphics
The graphics are definitely not the best. The new Rayman game out has alright graphics, but still not very good. The graphics are dodgy and corners have been cut everywhere. I mean, Rayman doesn't even have any arms or legs in this game! (Just kidding, he's not supposed to)
The colours are glum and make you want to throw up.

Sounds
Well, there isn't much to say about the sounds in this game. That is because there are barely any! The occasional background music isn't even good enough! They should have at least a little background music throughout the game, so people can stay awake! The voices don't match the movement of the mouth, (but that could just be dubbing, I have no idea) and there is barely anything but a barely audible sound! The creators really should have put a lot more effort into this game!
Rating: 3/10

Gameplay
It's alright. I just don't like the continual third-person view. Rayman is hard to control overall, and there isn't much variety in the objectives of the game. The storyline is good enough, but they just don't enforce it enough. They explain once at the start, and then they start obsessing over these weird masks I don't have a clue a for. I haven't finished the game yet, but I know the first boss isn't much of a challenge. You jump across a few lums, and do some other stuff, and win. Plus, the necessities, like collecting yellow lums, are much too boring. The characters are well introduced, but not used enough throughout the game. I was introduced to Globox at the beginning, and I've only seen him in one level since!
Rating: 7/10

Length
The game itself is a decent length, maybe a bit longer than it needs to be. The creators should shorten it a bit. If you play a level, you should have at least a little storyline behind it. The levels are a good length, but the persistent activities just make you fall asleep! You're always doing the same thing, just with a different reason and area. This game will fill a chunk of time, if you have the guts and finger endurance. The levels have too many aims. As if I haven't gotten bored of shooting a wall so that I can float a plum across a river. ^_^
Rating: 6/10

So to conclude I'd just like to say that this game is not worth hiring, or buying for that matter. If you want a good third-person game look for something better.
