GAMEPLAY 8

It's not so lovey dovey this time around. The controls are harder, which is a good thing. Just some button mashing could get you pretty far in Parapa, but points are deducted here if you start button mashing on your mmeter. You're a girl named Lammy who plays her guitar like Parapa rapped, and man this is fun to play!

GRAPHICS 7

The graphics are much like Parapasaturday morning cartoon like. they're 2d animated figures that look like paper cut outs. However, this doesn't damper the game too much. it's still really fun to play.

SOUND 10

The sound is vertually perfectUnlike Parapa where all the songs were kind of a hip hop rap type thing, there is a good mix of rap, rock, etc. in Jammer Lammy. The same type of tootering is back, and even the onion headed dude from Parapa is back. Oh, and it sounds great when you play in concert.

DIFFICULTY 8

finally, a game that is half hard. actually, it's 3/4 hard. The game requires a good deal of rhythm and music. The chords you have to play can get long and complicatedbut they're not impossible by any meanings. Look out for the last few stages, there really hard. Yoko's stage is super hard.

REPLAY VALUE 9

This game has loads of replay. After you've beaten the typical lammy mode, you have unlocked many more modes. there's Lammy VS. Rammy, where you compete against your evil twin counterpart, rammy. Even some of the Parapa olld remixes are back. Woohoo!!! You can also play Lammy VS. Parapa, or you can even play a cooperative game with Lammy and Parapa on a team. During the multiplayer modes you can have a friend play with you, or the CPU can control the second character. And, yes, if you beat all 37 levels in the game, you unlock a mode that lets you play as both characters at once in the game. whew, that's hard.

RENT/BUY?

It's a definite improvement over Parapa, and that was pretty good. It's packed full of modes, a harder difficulty, and a decent storyline. i think you should purchase this one first chance you get.
