What do you get when you cross history of the Dynasties with weapons and get them all fighting? Nothing but an animated history book where you are the one who writes what happens.

-Storyline 10/10-

I'm a fan of medieval times, and the times of ancient far east Dynasties, so the story caught me, as did the character bios, how they came up in the time that they lived, and so on. Very insteresting indeed, using actual battlegrounds for the fighting stages.

-Graphics 2/10-

This is where it starts going down hill. It's blocky, and the animation misses on frames sometimes. The stages, as much as they are historic battlegrounds, they could have used alot of work, no interaction, no background effects, and they span on forever..come on, let's be real here. The only cool effect I have witnessed, was when the weapons came together at the right time, with a camera spin effect, lighting fast blocking. That's where it ends.

-Control 3/10-

Simplistic controls are the key here, but everything else is at expert level. Pulling off some of the moves can be hard, doing them 50 times to get them to go once, other times, trying to outdo your opponent, computer or human, in combat, can be a task in itself.

-Sound 1/10-

No thanks, if I wanted sqeuaky voices and rotten music, I would play an 8-track cassette of the Bee-Gees. There could have been improvement upon improvement with this section. The characters have a couple of good sound bits, but to catch them, you have to have a sharp ear.

-Replay 0/10-

Nope. Nothing to replay here, except to see the endings, and if you can sit through this game again and again, you're a better gamer than I.

-Rent or Own: Rent

Rent it first. You might like it, you might not. My sister loves the game, and consistantly kicks my butt at it. If you buy it (which I did for $9 at a local retailer) then you can add it to a growing collection as something to show off.
