Storyline-6/10
The storyline is set in some sort of weird planet and there is some sort of weird tournament. I guess setting the game in a weird planet is probably a way to give the game some really weird looking characters.But the poor character design is such that I really don't want to find out about the background story of all these characters.

Music-5/10
Well although this is a squaresoft game they didn't give it any great music at all. I have to admit that I have always been impressed with squaresoft's music but sadly this one just doesn't cut it.As for soundeffects they are kinda lame and are actually bad compared to most 3D fighters out in the market. Hey this game was made at a time when there are many companies making 3D fighters for the playstation.

Graphics-2/10
The stages are badly designed. The characters looked really very ugly. Seriously I actually had a hard time trying to decide which ugly guy to use. They are really blocky and ugly and the game was released after Tekken2.
It really is the opposite of Soul Edge in terms of graphics. Yes you wouldn't believe that this was a squaresoft game unless someone tell you. Yes this is probably one of those few games made in 3D made by squaresoft that doesn't have the squaresoft look in them.

Gameplay- 4/10
The only thing I liked was exploring the dungeon. The 1 on 1 battles with the enemies is really badly done. Yes there is still the 1 guy who can get away with 1 move to complete the game. There is also yes the guy who cannot be used effectively even after days of training. Seriously as a 3D fighter this one is really lame and boring. The movelist is actually kinda limited. Also it sure does not help that the cast is limited and half of them are creatures I never like and thus will never consider using.But hey you might want to give them credit for having one of the weirdest cast of fighters to choose from. Yes trust me on this one there is no other cast that looks as weird as this one.

Conclusion- This game is really terrible in terms of graphics that I feel is bad for the squaresoft brand name. It also has music that does not live up to the great music in the RPGs made by Squaresoft.But then it may not do them much harm since this is one of their earlier 3D fighters. But I guess they should really concentrate on making and improving their RPGs.
