NFL Blitz

"The original and the best!"

When NFL Blitz came to the Play stations system back on September 30, 1998, I started saving up my money to by a one of a kind football game. This game has everything a football fan wants in a game!

Graphics:The graphics are really good for a football game that came out in 1998. They don't look perfect and they don't look sloppy they are just ok. I thought that they were the best when I first played it. You might be surprised your self.

Control:The controls are so easy to memorize! It wont take that long if you play it for a day or two. It only took me about 2 hours of gaming to get the controlling down. I also think the controls are the best out of any football game ever made for any system that has football games.

Sound/Music:This game doesn't really have any music. Only on the main page, when your picking your team and you can choose if you want any music during a game by going to the menu and simply choosing the volume. The sound is pretty good. When you tackle people they will make sounds like they are in deep pain. When you tackle them and throw them on the ground, sometimes you can curse at them. I haven't heard it all that much but a couple of times. Well, this is part of the game is really good.

Gameplay:They gameplay is very good. This game is really for a hardcore fan! Nasty tackles and bone crunching slams and everything else a hardcore football fan would want. The games go by really fast, sometimes you will have a couple of seconds to go around and look at the fans and look at the banners.

Replayability:After you play this game for a long time, you might start getting bored with it and put it on the shelf and start playing a different game. But trust me, you will think of the good times you had with this game and play some games then just do season and other stuff just so you can still have a good time with this game.

Rent or Buy:I would go rent this game first and see if you really like it. I liked it a lot so I went out and bought it. If you are a football fan that likes slow football games, this game might not be for you. If you don't like slow games and you want a fast game go out and buy this game! Trust me, you will not regret it!

Overall:I am going to give this game a 10. It really deserves it.
