"Great Story Line, Cute Characters... Bad Graphics"

Story 9/10:
It starts off with a young girl running in darkness. A dragon pops out to attack her, and she is saved by a handsome Prince. ''It's him... The man I've dreamed of...'' Of course, just as usual, Cornet Espoire is only dreaming. She is brought back to earth by her puppet and friend, Kururu.
While on an errand for her grandpa, she is attacked by Miss Myao and her Nyanko. Myao wants Cornet's inotium (the energy source and currency of the kingdom of Marl). Since they refuse, Myao summons a dragon. When things look their worst, Cornet is saved by... you guessed it, a prince! She is immediately entranced. He bids her farewell, after smiling.
A few days later there's a contest being held. It's female admission only, and the winner becomes a candidate to be the prince's bride. While preparing, you run into your rival, Etoile. She has also entered the contest.
I'm not telling you the outcome of the contest. It's a surprise! But during the Prince's party a day or two later, it is interrupted by a loud crash. Myao has returned... And with reinforcements. Marjoly, the self-proclaimed Evil Beauty of Marl, is here to help her, along with Crowdia and Gao.
But instead of attacking the Prince, Marjoly blushes. In the words of Crowdia's pet crow, ''Marjoly has the hots forevermore!'' She tries to capture the Prince with a sleeping spell, but screws everything up and turns him to stone. Embarrassed, she and her followers escape, taking him with them. Now it's up to Cornet to save him.

It's a normal fairy-tale type of story, but then they reverse the roles in the kidnapping area. NICE TOUCH! ^_^

Characters 10/10:

Cornet Espoire - You live alone with your grandpa since your parents died a long time ago. But that doesn't stop you from trying to lead a normal life! Like any girl at the age of sixteen, you long for true love. But, when you finally get the chance, your clumsiness and that little ol' shy factor always gets in the way. You're semi-clumsy, but that can be fixed, with the help of Kururu! (In case you haven't guessed you play as Cornet.)

Kururu - If there's trouble, Kururu probably started it. Very curious about everything, and she gives Cornet that extra boost she needs when she's feeling down. Plus, she hits Cornet a lot with that huge fan! ^.^ Kururu is what some would call the comic relief, since there are tons of serious parts in the game, as well as romance. With lines like ''If all else fails, show a little leg. No man can resist a little leg!'', where can you go wrong?

Etoile - The classic rival and rich-girl of the town. Etoile is rich and loves rubbing it in. At times, you can see she really cares for Cornet, but of course she can't show it. She has a reputation to uphold!

Prince Ferdinand - He's the one that gets turn to stone. (Duh!) He's a kind, handsome guy, and every woman in the Kingdom of Marl loves him! Even the married women! And he has his own fan club! What does that tell you! ^_^

Miss Myao - A cat-like person who looks and acts like a little girl. She loves to keep dragons and serve Marjoly. Every once in a while her Nyanko do some cute things. You'll just have to see it for yourself.

Crowdia - A young woman with a crow for a pet. Serves Marjoly. She has beautiful black wings and is very talented when it comes to using a sword. Very narcissistic, and makes wisecracks about the others vary often.

Gao - A strong woman built with the mucles and attitude of a man. She's part dog, as you can tell, since she fights with Myao a lot. Lives to serve Marjoly. The only thing she uses in battle... Her fists!

Marjoly - Age 20, or so she says... Truth of the matter is, she's a little over fifty. Yet she still dresses in those skimpy clothes! Geez! Very clumsy and forgetful, and very full of herself. Although she did kidnap the Prince, she isn't all bad. You'll see that sometime during the game.

Graphics 6/10:
Some of the scenes are beautifully done, like the forest scene at the beginning, but other than that, it's not that great. All of the dungeons are pretty much the same, either built like old ruins or caves. Sure you might see a different color for every cave, but other than that, they're the exact same. Prepare for boredom when going through the caves and ruins...
But also stop once in a while and admire the beautiful scenery! Like with the volcano scene and the forest scene! ^.^

Music 10/10:
There are wonderful songs in here that the characters sing once in a while. Of course, you can hit the triangle button if you don't want to hear them, but I suggest you do. The game also comes with a soundtrack! (May I suggest you listen to track #6? It's hilarious!)
The background music isn't what I'd call great, but the songs TOTALLY make up for it!

In conclusion:
You have to try this game! Buy it, rent it, whatever! Just try it! You won't regret it!
