The Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Home

"The First Game For The Dukes Of Hazzard And It Does Quite Well!"

Well, this is a review on Dukes Of Hazzards: Racing For Home for the PlayStation. Now, for the reveiw part.

Note: I will not talk about the TV show in the review(like the episodes and the past stories) because the game's story is complety diffrent from the show.

Gameplay(7): Gameplay is average here. You can do 2 player in which you can play steal the can and choose up to a couple of cars! Go into rally and race foes alike! Single player is okay like get to the race track before time expires or capture the bosses car and blah blah blah! The gameplay is nice in here but not much to talk about so let's just move on.

Story(6): Well, it's based on the TV show Dukes Of Hazzards. You play as the Duke brothers in your General Lee car. You protect the town and get away from the cops quickly. You are not a good friend of the boss of the police but if you do get caught, you uselly get away with it. And there are robbers too out there. The story is quite average. Let's move on.

Grapichs(6): Not bad graphics. The car's are really detailed so that's good. The road and tress are very close to 2-d instead of 3-d. The graphics needs more approving I think so watch out for em'. The cutscenes are really nice and the intro is cool. Being based on a tv show, the graphics can get better. Okay, time for the next area.

Audio(8): Great sound. The car engines, the voice acting and such. It's great. Nothing much else in the audio here. Let's go on to the next, because the audio does not have much in Dukes Of Hazzard.

Replayability(7): You can redo single player or still do 2 player. Too bad there is no mini games and such. If you do single player agian, choose another mode like hard. It is a diffrance! Next!

Value(8): Okay, i'm rushing though this quickly. Value should be around 10 or 15 dollers. Maybe not even. If higher, DONT GET IT. It's not worth that much as Dueks Of Hazzards Version 2 is out. Well, that's all for the value.

Overall(7): Well done game. Not bad at all. Just needs some more stuff to do and maybe some new features. After all, this is the first game for the dukes of hazzard and it does quite well.
