"Hard game and a soft frog"

Frogger is a (now) 3D adventure and a sort of strategy game. You SHOULD remember this game from the arcades.

Game Play: Lets see here, your objective for every level is to find all the baby frogs. Sure this may get boring, but almost every level is very different from each other.

You should all remember the basic level by now. Cross the street while avoiding the cars. Then jump on a log and get to the end. Now what is so fun about this? Well you go to the next level in the set, now there is more cars and alligators! After that, turtles!

The levels range from streets mentioned above, gardens with raging lawn mowers, sewers, plants, and jumping from clouds.

There is a few power ups you can get, like speed and such, but this ads little depth.

The game play suffers because there is only three things you can do. Hop, Jump, or tongue. Average

Challenge: Oh boy, this game is HARD. This is one of the hardest games I have ever played. Please note that I did not even get all the baby frogs.

Some things in this game are very cheap however. Like sometimes to beat a level the right way, you need to wait at the beginning of the level or be lucky that all the moving objects are in the right spots.

You only get a couple of lives and this also makes the game VERY frustrating.

This is good for people who love arcade games. Outstanding

Control: The control is perfect. There is nothing wrong with it at all. Other than switching camera angles, you need X + [] + /_\ That’s all. There is a Croak command, but I hardly used it (To find other baby frogs) Outstanding

Story: Find the baby froggies? I guess that’s the story. I never once cared however. Least is isn’t stupid, it’s just not enough or needed. Poor

Visuals: For being on play station, the graphics are average. Nothing too complex in this game. The baby frogs are cute and Frogger dies. That’s all you really need. It did make a HUGE jump from the Atari. Average

Audio: This game sports corny but fitting music in most cases. But this game also some very good tracks in some levels. All the sounds are good. From being squashed to being ran over by a lawn mower.

Frogger ribbits all some times and so do the babies.

For some odd reason, all arcade games have good music to them... Great

Re playability: Well this depends on what kind of gamers you are.

Soft one: It you are a soft core gamer, you’ll most likely get pissed at this game about the time of the second tier of levels. You will then probably throw this game at the wall and go into a black stare... This game is hard after all. Below Average

Hard Core: Then this game is for you. You will love playing this game. There is tons of frogs to find and it will be rewarding in the fact that you did it. There is also a little two-player mode that you will like too. Great

Pros:
Memories
Lots of levels
Dude, it’s freaking frogger

Cons:
Too hard
Same objective the whole game
Not in depth in the control/move part

You should rent this game if you are someone who can’t stand cheap arcade games that eat your quarters. If you loved frogger in the past, then BUY!

I’m giving this game a six out of ten, because it is good, but only for a set few.
