"Addictive gameplay and a good story make this a great game!"

Wow...To call this game good would be an understatement. This is game is excellent! The only tactics game I had ever liked before had been Final Fantasy Tactics...Other then that,I wasn't really satisfied. However, playing Vandal Hearts II has given me a whole new approach on the tactics/strategy genre. This game incorperates the basic tactical gameplay with some RPG elements as well.

Graphics:
The graphics aren't something we haven't seen before, nothing special here.Although they are somewhat nice, they aren't the core of this game.

Gameplay:

This is the area where Vandal Hearts II really shines. An addictive battle system will keep you entertained throughout the game.It is pretty fun that you have to think where to position your characters, when to make them retreat and so on.

Story:

The story takes place with a young boy(you name the hero). He is a peasant who plays with his friends and idles for most of his days.He accepts his role in life is as a peasant. It isn't until he meets a strange man that his values and goals change...He begins to want to succeed,be something and not live the rest of his life as a peasant. He sets off for adventure.

Sound:

It has some good tunes. It may get repitive later on but for the most part they're pretty good.

The control is easy enough,it doesn't take too long to figure out what to do.You may feel lost at the begininng but you get used to recognizing all of the battle commands and functions.

The difficulty is straight down the middle, nothing a good tactic/strategy fan can't handle.

To Buy or Rent:The game has some good replay value but I think with a couple of rents you could beat this game...But,on the other hand it is a great game and is a worthy for anyone's collection.
