ECW Hardcore Revolution

I purchased Hardcore Revolution recently due to the fact that I have suddenly got into ECW and what can I say...the game is awesome! Although it does play alot like WWF Attitude, that makes it even better because I loved the way Attitude was.

Graphics 10
I don't care what anyone says, this game has great graphics! I really love how detailed the wrestler's clothes and faces are. Although the polygonal edges could be smoother...I'll live.

Sound 8
Aaaah the sound of heads smashing and bones breaking...the true spirit of ECW. And this game takes that spirit...turns it sideways and well, you know the rest. The only things that keep the sound from getting a 10 are: only one announcer without much to say(as you may recall the Attitude announcers had plenty of smart ellic comments), some of the sounds of weapons are messed up(being hit with the ring bell sounds EXACTLY like being hit with the ladder than instead of the tradition ''DING!'', and finally on the CAW theme music, 3 out of the 10 songs are the SAME SONG!!

Gameplay 10
Cha Ching! Ofcourse it's a 10. I enjoy and always will enjoy the way Attitude makes their wrestling games. The way they make you do the moves is so much better than that grappling junk. It helps you gain more skill and better speed with your fingers instead of holding 'a' then pressing 'b'. And ofcourse, the way the moves look, aren't just good...their JUST INCREDIBLE!

Disappointments...
I was sort of disappointed in the game because of the lack of good things like...I dunno....TABLES! I have played about 20 hardcore matches and got ONE TABLE!! ONE TABLE!! And this is ECW! These people break tables for a living!! Their one goal in life is to smash tables!! And I only get one table, and that one doesn't even come back...booooo.
I was also disappointed that in the barbed wire match, you could only throw the opponent against the barbed wire. I think they should have atleast made it where you could drag your opponents face across it, or something along those lines. Another thing is that they still have the Create-A-PPV feature. I really wish they would get rid of that, and make the CAW better.
There are soooo many things they could add on the CAW. Such as: adjusting the wrestlers height and weight, how about a create-a-entrance where you deside how your wrestler comes to the ring?, then ofcourse how you can load wrestlers such as RVD and edit their costumes.

All around...this game earned a 9. It's a great game and I love to play it but, there are just a few things that are really big to miss in my opinion.
