Beyblade: Let it Rip!

"It's a Beyblade Game!!"

It's a Beyblade Game!!I one day sat and thought to myself could there be a beyblade videogame? Then out of nowhere crave released this game,I was very excited to see how they would make this into a videogame, well on to the review.

Introduction:
Well its a game about battling tops that you can customize,you fight opponents in battle and win money or bey parts,basically that's all.

Gameplay:
At the beginning you choose your gender and your name and choose one of the starting beyblades(two in all).Well you use the d-pad or the left analog stick to control you beyblade around the arena.The square button,circle button and triangle button are used to summon forth your bit beast from a ''bit chip'', and do a special attack and also if anyone these buttons are pressed right before your opponent summons his bit beast, your beyblade will dodge the attack. To summon your bit beast you need what is called LP at least 25 of it. At the begining of a battle a bar will rise and depending at which part you press X to stop it,will determine your spin power. You can also perform special launchs by stopping the bar either triangle,square or circle in stead of the X, you must also have 25 LP to do a special summon.

Now to customize your beyblade you need different parts, to get this parts you can win them from the tournament or you can buy them at the beyshop with beypoints(money)that you win from battles.

Your character and bit beast also have levels,as they both continue to grow the stats of the beyblade become stronger slightly.

Story:
There is no story mode sorry folks.

Graphics/Sound:
Well for a ps1 game they are slightly good, but the best graphical part of the game is when the bit beast are summoned and do there attack.
For sound well there is always one constant song playing, but the intro of the game is pretty cool its the song from the show!!

Play Time/Replayability
Well there isn't really any replayability unless you want to get all the parts and get all bit beast leveled up to there max.

Final Recommendation
Crave certainly could have done better with this game but they rushed it, if they just put in a story mode and more characters,and some more things for replayability it would have been better. If your a beyblade fan this is a game for you so i say buy it!! Especially at a price of 9.99. But if your not a fan don't buy it.
