"Squaresoft's other series has got a new masterpiece."

I love RPG's, I love video games in general but RPGs are my forte. And I must say that squaresoft is the king! Thier excellent record has made them one of the top video game companies in the world. And now they release Saga Frontier 2 the greatest piece in the romancing saga series. Its gotta be thier most outstanding title since FF8. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is unique to this series and better than ever. Despite the mediocre tunes this game is one of the most promising titles I've ever seen. This game is without a doubt the must get of the season.

Graphics 10/10- Beautifully hand painted backgrounds fill the world that will grab you and not let go. From the detailed towns to the colorful characters and bright explosive moves, the graphics are in a class of thier own.

Control 10/10- The Controls are awesome. Very responsive so you can easily menouver out of the enemy's way. Plus with all the battle commands at your dispense, you'll love it.

Sound 7/10- While there is nothing seriously wrong with the sound FX, the music can get real annoying. Its just not as catchy as a lot of games.

Gameplay 10/10- Wow, the gmaepaly delivers tons of spectacular moves comboed up with some pretty unique commands. You keep on learning moves as you go through from weapon skills like axe, sword and bow to anima skills like fire, song and earth. Plus with extra commands liek replenish HP instead of attack and call a truce with the enemy, this RPG will delivera very fun and different gaming experience, and unlike the first Saga Frontier the confusion will not be a problem.

Story 10/10- Not one but TWO BIG story lines. There is Gustave who was rejected by his father and grows up to be a bully and a thief, and there is Will who is determined to be the best treasure hunter ever. You can play one or the other during the game and still beat it, or you can paly both allowing you to get secret quests and stuff.

Replay 10/10- With not one but two story lines, and allowing you to play them how you want you'll play this more than twice. Plus once you beat it you can play the missions in any order!

Overall 10/10- If you are one of those people who despised the first or those looking for the next RPG masterpiece from our friends at Squaresoft, this is the game for you. Keeping and enhancing the gameplay and making a beautiful layout, Squaresoft has got a real top-notch classic worth looking into.
