Chocobo Racing

"KWEH!!! This is good!!!"

Wow, it's a racer from square! As we all know, Square is pretty much famous for it's RPGs like the ever famous Final Fantasy series. Square has made a racer based on the pretty yellow bird we all love, the chocobo. But has Square got the goods to make a decent racer?

Graphics: 9/10

The graphics are pretty good, one highlight of almost every game of Square. Characters have been beautifully designed and background is very colorful and nice to the eye. The tracks are well-done, with no faults in the graphics, i give it a 9.

Sound: 9/10

In the sound department, square has done it again. Yes, the famous chocobo theme in is here, as well as different music suited to a certain track or a certain character. Overall, sound is also well-done. I also give it a 9.

Controls: 9/10

Well-designed, it very easy to play Chocobo Racing.
It deserves a 9.

Story: 9/10

In Chocobo Racing's story mode, Square made it in a pop-up book form. The overall story is pretty good, but it's like
a fairy tale. Many twists and turns in the main storyline will keep you playing this awesome game. The different characters have different parts in the story and also this is good. I give it a 9.

Gameplay: 9/10

Gameplay is great! There are different abilities to use and many different power-ups also! The familiar Fire1, Fire2 and so on also is here! The racing part is also good, with many shortcuts and different methods for you to win! Use abilities, shortcuts and everything else. Difficulty is not a major factor either, since the game is easy to play and complete but you'll surely have fun. Gameplay is truly great. Gameplay also gets 9.

Characters: 9/10

The roster here is just great! Many different characters, monsters and other stuff from various Final Fantasy's appear here as well! It's great and I give it a 9.

Unlockables/Side-Quests: 9/10

You can unlock many things for you to play with. Characters, Tracks and also some new fun options for you!
Again, it's a 9.

If you have not noticed, all the scores I gave were all 9s!!! Therefore, Chocobo Racing's overall score is a very good 9.

Overall, Chocobo Racing is a very good game. But if you're not a Final Fantasy fan, maybe you can rent it first. But for FF fans, this is surely a treat for you!
