"Just a bad wrestling game"

WCW Nitro looked pretty good when I saw movie clips of it. It seemed decent when I played a demo. When I got the game, I was hoping for something good. Instead, I realised that the game is a steaming, stinking, pile of monkey crap.
Nitro has a few of the top names in WCW such as Hogan, Nash and Sting. It also has X-Pac(Syxx) and The Big Show(Giant) in it. Every wrestler has his own rant which consists of a video clip of the real wrestler talking about how great he is. There are a bunch of secret wrestlers, but they are just the original wrestlers with different costumes and names. Some of them are just plain stupid, as they have Santa Claus and a Ghost.
The game plays slow and choppy. The moves are pulled off real slow and look very unrealistic. There aren't even that many moves to choose from. The control is like Attitude. You need to execute fighting game style moves. But, they don't feel as clean or smooth as attitude. The computer also does the same move as you are trying to do. that seemed strange to me.
There are a lot of rings in Nitro. The rings look pretty decent which is different from the rest of the game. Any wrestling game out now is 10 times better than Nitro.

Graphics: 6.
The wrestlers look horrible, like stick figures. The lighting is pretty good and the rings look decent.

Sound: 3.
No entrance themes and an annoying music plays in the background. The commentary is horrible. You can listen to ''Powerbomb'' for only so long.

Gameplay: 4.
The controls feel loose and unbalanced. If you think you pulled off a move, you may be wrong as the computer can do moves halfway into your move.

Replay Value: 2.
Career mode isn't exciting and multiplayer isn't fun which is strange considering it is a wrestling game.

Overall: 4.
Unless you really love WCW(God help you), don't get this game.
