"Why was this game even published?"

Introduction
If you are a japanese animation fan, I think that you must have already heard about the series in which this game is based... Unfortunately the games based on this series were never able to fully capture the spirit that was shown on the series, and this one isn't different...

Gameplay
Once you insert the cd and you watch the cool intro (it's the same one as the intro from the series...), you can start playing... After picking your gender, name and which beyblade you want to have initially, you can start playing the real game. What, playing? I don't quite seem to find any options that seem to enable you to play, mainly since you can only change a couple options (they let you buy new parts, change those that you have equiped on your beyblade, view the stats for both your character and your bit beast, and so on...), play a Vs. Mode (against the console or against a friend...) and finally play in a tournament, which mainly only is important for collecting points, which enable you to buy more stuff for you to use in your beyblade, improving it. And that's all, there isn't any story mode or anything else for you to do, so why on earth do you want to improve your beyblade if there isn't many people for you to try it into? Maybe they wanted to create a game for you to play mainly against your friends, but due to the lack of interest about this game, I don't think anyone will like playing it...

Story
It doesn't have any!

Graphics/Sound
I'm sorry to tell you this, but both the graphics and the sound in this game are quite bad. The graphics look like the ones of the first games which appeared for playstation, and the only nice thing about them is that you can clearly see the characters images. As for the sound (when there's any!), it is bad, and most of the times you will be quite happy when it stops being heard.

Play Time/Replayability
This game doesn't appear to have an high play time (I almost finished the tournament mode by the third time I played it!) and it doesn't have any replay value, as the only thing to do is win more money to get more parts, which you won't need if you already have a very good beyblade...

Final Recommendation
Hum, I must say that the only interesting thing about this game is the intro movie... Even if you are a really big fan from the series, I don't think you will enjoy this game at all...
