Aquanaut's Holiday

"This is no holiday."

Aquaknots Holiday may be the worst game ever made. I went through the pain of accidentally renting it. I don't know what I was thinking. I started playing it and wanted to know when something interesting was going to happen. I played for about an hour and realized that this game is no fun and is the farthest from. You would think that in all the bad gameplay that this game would have some bright point in its graphics or controls. It seems like that games like Aqua Knots Holiday happen or come into this world out of ideas just not thought through. I'm sure when the game makers first were first developing it, ideas were bright but in the end they didn't think of the cons and the disaster they would unleash. Aqua Knots Holiday is a good reminder to use that we all do things sometimes that just don't make no sense.

Graphics
Bad pop up around every corner. Underwater floor looks like a matted sprite of one color. To show shading in the mat they used a poor light black uneven sprite. The title screen looks like any PC game from five years before this game came out. 1/10

Controls
Sluggish. I found myself getting stuck. At times I didn't know if I was moving or at stand still. No kidding. 1/10

Sound
With the exception of the fish pings, I could say that there was none in this game. I guess sound isn't important in video games. 1/10

Gameplay
You drive around a sub makin' noise at fish and having nothing happen after. You can also build a reef but that is exciting for about 5 minutes. You can't really do anything with the reef in the game after its built. You can just say to yourself ''Gee I built a reef''. 1/10

Replay Ability
There is none. I must admit though it has other uses. It makes a great coaster and joke gift on birthdays. Other than that its use is well...none. 1/10

Final Recommendation
Never Play this game. Here is what will happen if I see a copy of this game in your house. I will laugh at you but its only because I want you to see your mistake. We will then proceed to get rid of it. Then we will go down to your local video store and rent some real games. Violent and full of curse words. Your forgiveness will then be complete.
