Final Fantasy Anthology

"The Classics Still Reign!"
Final Fantasy Anthology: This is Final Fantasy Anthology, back in the Super Nintendo days, Final Fantasy was very popular, now it still is for Playstation and Playstation 2, not 3D any more but we should not forget the classics that started it all, Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VII. Read this review and think about it, then think some more, if your tired of thinking, reach a conclusion, should your buy it? Or should you not buy it?
Final Fantasy V:
Introduction: Final Fantasy V, this game was actually never released in the United States. I'm not sure about other countries but I do know it was released in Japan. Unless you downloaded the Rom on the computer you probably never played it. If you enjoyed Final Fantasy X-2's job system you'd like this game. It's still in 2-D, Square didn't change anything from the original, still same story just different controllers. Anyway the only they did change is that they have two FMV's in beginning and end. Even though it's in 2-D I suggest you buy it.
Gameplay: Despite that it is in 2-D, the game is a great game. It's not exactly fun to play because it's 2-D but you have to remember, when they first released Final Fantasy V in Japan, they thought it was really great graphics, but you'd enjoy it, once you get the hang of it. The controls are really easy to master.
Story: Final Fantasy V doesn't have a very deep story, The main characters is just a traveler, just happens to get save this girl, and soon he gets drags into saving to world. The story is basically this, their are four crystals earth, wind, water, and fire. They shatter and you have to find out whats causing this, and that's the story. Not the whole story of course, more plot twist are included.
Graphics: Okay so this game doesn't have the best Graphics, but you can't have them all, and this game was created in 95 I think. The characters can't show emotion at all, but I can't complain because the story covers that up. So that's that.
Final Fantasy VI:
Introduction: Now I'm talking about Final Fantasy VI, it the old days, when this was first created for Super Nintendo it was for America, why do I bring this up? Well because, you maybe familiar with this because it used to be called Final Fantasy III. Anyway this game is alot more enjoyable from V. And it has two new more FMVs, and when you beat the game there is like bonuses which is very, very cool.
Gameplay: This game is slightly better because it makes for sense, so it's more enjoyable. You get to do many things in this game, this game is one of the best Final Fantasies to me. The controls are the same in most Final Fantasies so you should already mastered them. But their is one thing that I am afraid to tell you, when you go into the menu, it is so very, very slow. probably because it's a Final Fantasy game and all in one disk, it gets cramped all the files, and will slow it down.
Story: Now the story, this story is so complex, but like I said before, makes sense. A girl named Terra can use magic, which is a very weird thing because they thought magic was banished long ago during the war of the Magi. She gets captured by the empire and then is controlled by the evil jester, Kefka. Then are these beings called espers, Terra can talk to them. And Kefka wants those espers to do his bidding, so I won't tell you the rest.
Buy This game now!: After reading that review you should get an idea of what Final Fantasy Anthology is all about, two classics in one set, pretty sweet huh? So now you should go to your local game shop and buy this if you are a true Final Fantasy fan. But I understand if you don't, not that I care or nothing. So I hoped you enjoyed this Review. Good luck with the game and I hope you beat it.
