Tecmo Super Bowl

Gameplay - 10
It is first important to know that this was one of the first games for Playstation. The control is simple, its not nearly as complicated as Madden. All the players moves are based on their abilities (which you can alter). There isn't a button you have to press to make them jump or spin. If a player is good like Emmitt Smith, they will be able to do a lot of moves. On the other hand if you run with ''Moose'' Johnston all the time, the best you can hope for is for ''Moose'' to drag the defender that's on him 20 yards. I think this is a very fun game. Not just to play by yourself, but to have friends over and each person being a team. Their are Tecmo Football leagues on the internet. Another great thing in the game is that you can change the players names, abilities, and numbers. I had a fun time, I changed all the players to people that I know, or read about. It was great to see the Avatar (from the Ultima series) rush for 33 touchdowns. The game is only as hard as you make it. If you want to play with awful people, you need to learn how to use them. The control is easy, probably the easiest football game on Playstation.

Story - 10
Well, its the NFL. Minus suspensions, fines, drugs, car wrecks, shootings, trials, etc., (that would be cool to make a game include that though). So I guess the story is to bring your team to the Super Bowl and win!

Audio/Video - 7
The graphics are not much better than SNES Graphics for this game. The music isn't very good, but its an addictive tune. The announcer sounds fake and talks as if he is reading off cards instead of watching the game. I give it a 7, because for the time it came out it was cool.

Replayability - 10
This game can be played an infinity of times. Mostly, because you can change abilities and players, etc. The game is never the same each time.

To buy or to rent? - buy=8 rent=5
Since its an older game, a lot of people may think it isn't that good. But I would buy it anyway, especially since you can probably find it for 4 bucks.

Overall- 10 (to me its a classic)
