Tony Hawk's Pro Skater

"Wow..."

Wow is all I can say about this game. I'm not much into skating, or sports for that matter, and I absolutely LOVE this game. It's a great all-around game, MUCH MUCH MUCH better than Street Sk8er and Street Sk8er 2. This is one of my favorite games of all time, and I don't even like to skateboard! So, here's my review...

Control- 10
Very, very, very good control. The best control in any game I've ever played before. Pulling off tricks is a snap, and turning is easier than cutting pie.

Level Design- 10
This is where the game REALLY shines. You can do almost anything in these levels, thanks to the brilliant level design. I love being able to do a wall ride to a frontflip to a crooked grind, and then grinding through the whole level. In the school, you actually CAN grind through the whole level. It's a great experience.

Graphics- 9
The graphics are very good in this game, but not top-notch. Nothing to get excited about, but at least you can tell the difference between the people.

Music- 11
A great soundtrack, with an excellent selection of songs. They really get you into the mood. Again, a really great soundtrack.

Camera Angela- 10
I know this isn't a usual topic, but I had to include it. The camera angles in this game are spectacular. You can always see in front of you, and I never once missed a trick because of a bad camera angle. In Street Sk8er, I used to miss tricks all the time because of the camera angle, but not in THPS. They're awesome.

Replay- 10000000
I've played this game more than any other of my games. It's one of those games that even after you know all the tricks and can pull them off perfectly, you still come back for more. There is so much variety in the levels, you always come back for more. This is one game you WILL NOT be able to stop playing.

BTW, I got 170,000 points in the warehouse on ONE trick!!!
