"Wanna play guitar? Play this game!"

I was searching for a game to buy in my favorite store, then I saw Guitar Freaks. I saw it in a magazine, but I never bought any BEMANI game (BeatMania, Guitar Freaks, D.D. Revolution...). So I decided to buy it. Wow. That's what I said when I played it.

Gameplay - 10/10

What can I say about it? You a have a guitar controller to simulate a real one (sadly I don't have one. I live in Brazil and I didn't ever saw it in a store). If you don't have a guitar, like me, you have three controller configurations, one of then, designed for the analog controller, simulates a guitar. And it's very easy to play.

Story - N/A

Story? No, there's no Story Mode. The game itself don't have a story. And no, you're not someone that start playing in shows and need to achieve the fame, glory, and fortune.

Audio/Video - 9/10

What would be a guitar simulation game without good music? The musics are GREAT. In the beginning, the easist one where a challenge for me. I practiced, and now I can't play only the last ones. The musics are really great, and there are various styles (rock, blues, jazz, surf music...). I used a gameshark and unlocked the secret ones. There are more than 20 musics in total. The video? There are some animations in the stages, and they are very simple and fun to watch.

Replay Value - 10/10

Believe me, you will never get tired of playing this game. You'll want to master all musics, or the most of them. Play it with a friend, and you will spend the intire day competing and cooperating.

To buy or to rent?

Definitely, buy it. If you can buy the guitar controller, great! This game will keep you in front of the TV for hours.
