Sled Storm

"Racing this fun couldn't be!!! But it is!!!"

This is a great game to play alone or with so friends it got awesome graphics, nice control, and good sound. The levels are filled with plenty of things to hit from snowmen to rabbits. There are some really cool moves you can pull off on your snow mobile and you can catch some major air on some of the jumps. The levels are pretty big and there’s a lot of room to move around and on some levels you can fall off. There are all kinds of shortcuts and lots of multiple ways to take through the game. Being able to customize your snowmobile is another cool thing with that game. Try to collect those points any way possible. The tracks are cleverly designed and look great on the PSX’s hardware. This game is one of the top sports/racing games for the playstation. If will take your forever to find all of the shortcuts and obstacles to hit with your snow mobile. It’s one of the better games for the playstation without a doubt and is really entertaining for anyone of any age.

GAMEPLAY **9**

The gameplay is quick and responsive. All of the controls for your guy are well done on the playstation’s controller. Although the snowmobile needs some brakes. There are no brakes nothing but and accelerator and the reverse gear. The moves you have to pull of are simple and easy you just have to press either L2 or R2 and press directions on the d-pad. A dual shock controller will make this game quite a bit more manageable and should make it easier to control the snow mobile. Sled Storm shows some great control and the playstation controller works great with it.

SOUND/MUSIC **8**

Most of the sounds on this game are very detailed and sound great. All of the music was chosen wisely and also sounds great. The music goes good with the game and keeps the game interesting all the way through the game and gets you pulled into the game. But there is just one problem is that the guys when you pull of a move the only have like one or two lines and they keep on repeating them and it gets very annoying but sometimes it’s because your doing the exact same stunt over and over again. The game needs more lines for each snow mobiler to make it a little less annoying.

GRAPHICS/LEVEL DESIGN **10**

The graphics in this game are awesome probably some of the best graphics on the playstation to date. The graphics are detailed and look great. For the playstation they look really good everything shows a lot of detail and keeps the game interesting. All of the players and their snowmobiles are designed awesome and look great. The levels are all very detailed with plenty of extras to find and possible points to be found. Levels in this game are one of the best things about it. They’re pretty big, huge jumps, open courses, shortcuts, and a lot of extra detail like animals and other natural things.

REPLAYABILITY **9**

With all of the levels to conquer and to find all of the shortcuts it will take you awhile. Racing through all of the modes may take some time and really keep the game interesting. Updating your snow mobile with new parts also makes the game a little longer to try out all the upgrades. Plus the multi-player is also awesome to boot. This game will keep you busy for quite some time to come.

CHALLENGE **MED**

The game is pretty easy but there’s a lot to do in this game so it can get more challenging. Also under jumps and falling off of levels also make the game harder. There are lots of things to do in the levels and plenty of jumps plus a lot of shortcuts to find and mess around with.

RENT OR BUY

But this game is a must have it will totally impress you. But if you’re a little skeptical you may want to rent this title first. You should be able to find it fairly cheap like all the other Playstation games. It’s one of the best games to play on the system pertaining to racing games and I’m pretty sure that you or any racing game fan will like it. All I have left to say is that this game totally deserves a 9 if not a perfect score.
