Alien Trilogy

"One of my favorite games."

I freaking loved this game. As i have said before with my other Aliens game reviews, I love the Aliens franchise. I just love it. No qustions about. I will always love it. Now, let us begin.

Graphics: 6/10
Sadly, the graphics are not that good. The aliens and enemies sort of look like cardboard cut outs, and move around very robotically. The are and environments are designed very nicely, though. It takes the feel right out of the first two movies. Not so much the third movie though. I didn't really feel as though I was in the prison.

Sound: 9.3/10
The sound is awesome. The sound of the pulse rifle sounds right out of the freakin movie. The music is creepy, and is very nice to listen to. Especially the Main Menu music. The only problem I had with the sound is that every know and then, the music will just stop and then start skipping. Besides that, superb sound.

Gameplay: 8.9/10
The gameplay is very fun and addicting. Just going around and shooting aliens is fun for hours. Basically all you do is that. Maybe a little destroying some barrels or something like that, but mostly just kill or be killed.

Difficulty: 6/10
There isn't anything hard about pressing a button to fire. Sometimes the Queen is a little hard to fight.

Fun Factor: 9/10
Read gameplay part.

Replay Value: 5/10
I could blast the living crap out of those aliens forever......okay I'm done now.

Overall: 9/10
A great fun game that captures the spirit of the movies well.

Buy or Rent?
If you are a hardcore Aliens fan, buy.
If not, rent because it will only take about a day of playing to beat it. If you like it after renting it, then buy it. Wait, no. Forget renting it. Just buy it. Your going to end up buying it anyway. No sense in wasting an extra five bucks, is there? I SAID BUY IT, DAMMIT!! NOW.
