Introduction Suikoden? Suikoden? What a weird name but one of the best RPG's that I played. It all started one day that I played this RPG and I liked it, later my uncle passed to me this game(notice that I knew nothing about this game) and I played for hours, it was so good and very original, this wasn't a rip-off from any other game,want to learn more? Over the years, people thought (and still think) that final fantasy is the best rpg ever. Now I'm not arguing with that, i'm just saying that there's a lot more games that can pass the final fantasy series and this rpg is an example. Now on to the review of suikoden.

Graphics 7.5/10:The graphics were not that good but what do you expect from a game that was made before the year 2000? It was still good, the characters look okay with their clothes, the scenes are okay and the weapons. Some people don't like games because of the graphics but for me the story counts for me, not the graphics. So the graphics here were not that good but it did not bother me at all. The creators added a lot of trees and mountains in this game, when you go outside of a place, you are in the world map, once you're in the world map, you can see all the mountains,trees,the sky, and many more things as well. You can see how the creators worked very hard on the graphics, and successfully accomplished it. Score 7.5/10.

Sound 9/10:Suikoden has one of the best soundtracks and also the music, it features classic music and also good sound. When you enter a town or a building, it has different sounds so that you won't say ''oh it's repetitive''. I liked it and I did not have a problem with it. The sound is like a mix of piano and like guitar. Most of the time, you will hear classic piano music once you enter different places. When you enter you're castle, there's a very silent music which is quite good to hear, you may hear it like ten thousands time because you will be going at your castle a lot of times but it's worth it! Score 9/10

Gameplay 10/10: The gameplay was outstanding! Unlike other Role-playing games, in this one you can have a max of 6 characters when you fight monsters and bosses. There's more good things too like when a monster attacks you, your friend may defend you from the attack. One good thing about this game is that when you use magic you have different and powerful spells to use, also it offers different runes. Runes are magic items to use in battle when you need them,It's very fun and it does not get boring very easily,different characters have different runes (magic) and abilities to use in a fight. Well that's about the gameplay . Score 10/10

Fun Factor 8/10: This game is very fun to play because you can do almost whatever you want, you recruit different warriors and also mages, swordman and many more. Furthermore, once you recruit them they work at your castle and they build it for you. Very fun, it has also mini games. Score 8/10.

Music 10/10: The music was perfect without any problems. When you enter a town you can hear different musics and they are all great, also when entering a boss battle you will notice there's different music. Score 10/10.

Presentation 9/10: It's very well done, the manual is good (it explains everything, how to play the game etc.) The case is good also it shows all the characters in the front of the case of this game. Very beautiful. Score 9/10.

Story 10/10: One of the best story's that I ever heard in a RPG. You are a little boy and your father is a general (the best) who serves the emperor, and you serve all the empire and you must go to do some quests. When you progress the game you will betray the empire and you will join the rebels (enemies of the empire). After that you join them you must explore all the world to find soldiers, mages, different persons to come at your castle and protect you from the empire. In the game you will do major wars with them, now this is an amazing story! Score 10/10.

Overall 10/10: We all know now that new RPG's exist and therefore we must continue on those games but why not play the old ones too? This game was given to me by my uncle and I played around 10 times in a row. So if you're an role-playing fan I suggest you to go buy it, and if you do not find it, get it from ebay. This is truly one of the best role-playing games that I ever played in my entire life!!! If you don't trust me, then rent it, but I don't think that you can rent these games anymore since they are really rare. Your best option is to simply buy it! Score 10/10
