"Crash is a revolutionary game"

If you like really cool adventures with really weird villains and you play as
a marsupial, then this game is for you. Yes it is true, it is a really cool
adventure game and you play as a marsupial, usually the worst combination ever. but not this time. The combination makes this game what it is and it uses the combination cleverly. So let us look at the highs and lows of this game.

Graphics 10/10

The graphics are absolutely amazing. They are clear and crisp and I think they deserve to be on the play station 2. No matter what angle you look at Crash from, you see that he is amazingly animated. We have discussed how well Crash looks now let us talk about the levels. The levels have a distinct cartoon look and it goes with the game perfectly. Even when you are not on the levels but exploring the island, the colours on the island are amazingly detailed. The graphics on Crash are one of the best points of the game.

Sound 9/10

The music on the game is really well done, although it is a bit repetitive. The music to the levels fits the game amazingly well. For example on one of the games many jungle levels you can hear bongo drums and also may other instruments that suit the jungle theme. Another example of the sound working well is on the boss levels, the music is a catchy theme and relaxes you. The sound will keep you humming along for ages. The only thing that stops it getting ten out of ten is the repetitive sounds.

Game play 10/10

The game play of Crash is another ten out of ten, its controls are very simple though. For example the x button is to jump and the square and circle buttons are to spin. These buttons are very helpful when it comes to boss fights and dodging things.

The level design is simple, but effective. The first couple of levels will only involving jumping and spinning techniques, but then later on in the levels they got considerably harder because you have to do bigger jumps and combine spinning and jumping techniques. They have different types of level design fro the two dimensional scrolling to riding a wild hog, all in all the level design is a mixed range but works really well.

The challenge of the game is pretty good, it will provide you with some difficult things, although it is mostly timing your jumps and how good are your reflexes.

The length of the game is pretty long, although it only took me two and a half days to complete, although that is putting into consideration that I am a hardcore gamer and I didn't stop playing this, I missed a whole nights sleep playing it. So all in all the game play of the game is amazing.

Fun 9/10

Crash is an amazingly fun game, it provides a challenge to the player and Crash has some funny death scenes. It is one of them games that no matter how many times you play it you find it more fun each time you play it.

Replay value 5/10

The replay value is a bad thing because once you do all the levels the only you got to do is go back and collect all the gems in the game, once you get this it unlocks a special thing and helps you reach 100% completion.

Overall 9/10

Overall there is only one option which is BUY THIS GAME. If you do you won't regret it. Even better than that is that you can buy it for under £20 and for you Americans under $20.
