"A good Role Playing game..."

Legend of Mana is a RPG set against a magical storybook backdrop where a hero embarks on a quest to restore a barren land. The player enters the story assuming the role of one of 2 characters...

Game Play:
When you first start the game, you can even select the gender of the character who you will be using. Even after selecting the gender, you can also select what weapon the character will start off with. Most of the normal enemies are easy to defeat but bosses are a bit more difficult to defect. The battle system is really fun, you can defend yourself against attacks and use various strategies against opponent to kill them. You can use all those tricky abilities to stun and fool the opponent and you can use those special technique to kill the enemies fast. Magic are really useful in this game. Furthermore, you need to collect many artifacts in order to set up new buildings to proceed with the game. Overall, Gameplay is really interesting.

Story:
The story has a lot of twist and turns which makes it really interesting and fun. Story are seperated into many different adventure, which you must complete some procedure in order for them to happen. Many characters will join you as you proceed into different adventures. Overall, this game has a good story line.

Audio/Video:
WOW!!! The background music is really nice! The sound effects is also beautiful. There is sound effects for every action the main character takes. Different weapons produce different sound effects. Now lets talk about Video, the graphics is awesome. As usual, Squaresoft products do not disappoint me, their games are always the best in graphics. The FMVs in this game is really beautiful. There is a organic look in the graphics during the game play. The buildings actually appear to 'stand' out.

Replayability:
Although there will be no change in the storyline if you replay the game but it is worth to replay this game. However, people seldom replay a RPG game which takes days to complete it.

Buy/Rent?:
I suggest that you BUY this game because it is worth the money. I did not regret buying this great game. It is another great game by Squaresoft. Trust me, if you are a great RPG game fan, then be sure not to miss this game.
