"Where is that game again? Oh yea, it's in the trash can"

This game was one of the first playstation games I got. I went to Toys R Us almost everyday to go in and play the 2 Xtreme demo. Boy, was I hooked to the demo! When I got playstation, I spent hours and hours just playing that one course that was in the demo. I begged my parents for the game on my birthday, which turned out to be my biggest mystake for a birthday wish ever.

Gameplay:
Well, the idea sounded cool, you race on a snowboard, roller blade, bike, and skateboard. What sucks about this is that there aren't any upgrades, as you play one player for each sport vehicle. There were only so many tricks for each vehicle, and they didn't look that good either. Therefore, you'll have no sympathy at all if your character crashes. You race at four places, Japan, Africa, LA, and Las Vegas. There are three ''courses'' for each place. There are no variety in the courses at all. Each course is just the same as the other ones, except the parts of each course are rearranged. I hated that part. The season mode is long and boring, and to make it worse, there isn't even an ending movie!

Sound:
The music was horrible, I'd rather hear my cat scratching a blackboard. I ended up turning the music all the way down. This is one of the few games that I didn't like the music in.

Controls:
The controls weren't so bad as I recalled, the only buttons I needed to know was the acceleration and the jump buttons!

Graphics:
Unforgiveable graphics for a sport game. SNES would have no problem handling these poor graphics! It's like watching a cut-out paper figure, just standing there, along with passing screens! Well, I'll take some of that back, since I'm writing this review when games like Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Madden NFL 2000 have been out, but I know that Sony could've done a better job on the graphics.

Difficulty:
When you put it on easy, it's a little too easy. If you put it on medium, it's a little too hard, and on pro, the people finish before you can say ''Where the hell is everyone???''

Replay value:
None whatsoever. I hated this game, and refuse to play it ever again. I would gladly sell it to anyone offering a nickel for it or above.
