"Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is excellent in every single way."

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an interesting, fun fighting game by Capcom with interesting gameplay, weird, unique characters, and tons of fun in any mode.

I heard of this game on the Internet one time, and I decided to set out to look for it (mainly because of the stand system and the cool-looking characters, along with the awesome graphics). After some hunting, I finally found Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Story 7/10

The story is more than the standard fighting game fare, due to it being a manga in Japan as well. It revolves around a young man named Jotaro who has a creature called a “stand” which can help him in battle. Other people have them, too, and each person has a different stand. Jotaro sets out on a quest to defeat the evil Dio, and there's the story wrapped up for you. You can see more in the actual game.

This game is also correctly named, because the story, along with the characters, are quite bizarre. You'll have to play the game to find out what I mean.

Gameplay 10/10

The most important part of any fighting game is gameplay. It doesn't matter how hot the women are (DOA), but what really matters is the actual fighting engine. This game incorporates the stand system (previously mentioned) into battle. The character you choose can summon their stand to help them battle their opponent.

The fighting is fun, and the stands make the game much, much better.

There are also many good modes to choose from, including the classic Story Mode and Versus Mode.

The Story Mode involves battles along with minigames, such as trying to hit a monkey that has kidnapped a little girl and dodging obstacles that fly at you.

Graphics 10/10

The graphics are excellent. The game has a nice cel-shaded look that is pulled off perfectly. The animations are fluid, and everything, including characters, stands, and backgrounds look great.

Sound 9/10

The sound, as with everything else, is very good. The music sounds nice, the voices sound good (unlike many fighting games), and special effects sounds seem realistic.

Replay Value 8/10

Most fighting games have good replay value, unless they're not very good. Due to this being a great game, it has a lot of replay value, mostly in the multiplayer mode. It's fun to play against your friends, or even replay the story mode or choose another one of the modes in the game.

Buy or Rent?

Definitely buy. Even if this game wasn't old, I would still say buy, because I love this game.

From me, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure gets a 9/10.
