When you think of fighting games you always think of one thing:publicity.Every fighting game no matter how good(Tekken 3,Soul Calibur.)or bad(Killer Instinct,Mortal Kombat Gold) have always had some attention...but THIS is a game that will probably go unoticed because of what its based on

Graphics 10/10
Scince this IS made by Capcom AND is a 2-D fighting game,the graphics are excepional and are since this IS based on a popular anime and magna (which I have never heard of,I will explain in the story section of this review.)the characters look very anime like and well made(espically Hol Horse.).

Music/Sound 10/10
The musicdosenreallysetthe characters well but I'm not complaining because the music is still well done(Dio's and Kakyoin's are the best.).Keeping the Japanesse voices was a great idea(even though I have NO idea what Hol Horse is saying when he taunts me.).

Story 9/10
The story,like I said,is based on a popular anime and magna in Japan(too bad a company like Viz dosen't have the guts to bring this anime and magna to the States *WINK WINK*.)and is based on the 3rd series of the comic.The story goes that there are humans who possess these ''people''(don't know what else to call them.)called stands,and Jotaro Joestar has one of these but thinks it is an evil demon.He soon finds out from his grandfather Joseph and a man named Avdol(both stand masters)that an evil vampire named Dio has been revived and is causing Jotaro's mother to fall ill.The only way to cure his sick mama is to kill Dio and other stand masters in bloody ways.Along the way,3 other people(or should I say 2 people and a dog.)join them on thier quest to stop Dio.My only problem with the story is that before i played this game,I never even heard of an anime or magna by this name and if a SOMEONE like Viz(*WINK WINK*)would release the anime or magna here in the states it would have had a little more publicity.

Gameplay/modes 10/10
The gameplay is basic Capcom fighting gameplay but the real thing that stands out are the game modes.There are 4 modes of play(arcade,vs.,training,and the Super Story Mode.)with super story mode being the meat and potatoes of this game.The better you do in story mode,the more things you unlock.Example:the minigames that you play in story mode can be unlocked as you go further into the game.Speaking of minigames,the minigames are what make this game unique.Minigames range from an R-Type like shooter to a poker game(my favorite).

Rent or buy
If you are an anime fan this game should not be overlooked no matter what

Overall
Probaley if the anime was released in the U.S. I would have given this game a perfect score but this is still a great game nonetheless.
