"This is a good title with some problems!!!"

This is a very good racing game on the Saturn. Personally I really like this game. The graphics on this game are nice looking and are fairly sharp for the Saturn. The sounds and music in this game are all very detailed, sound good, and were chosen well. Most of the songs in this game are very catchy especially the one after you finish a race. The games control is good feeling and the Saturn controller works good with this game. And if you don’t like the control you can change it on the options screen. The game is only a one player game, which kind of takes the replayability down. A two player mode would have been very nice. Plus theres only 3 tracks to choose from. This kind of gets boring after a little while. You can play the game with more laps on a track but it still seems to get boring fairly fast. Overall I really like this game everything is great and the game is fairly fun to play. The game has some weak spots that need working out though.

GAMEPLAY **9**

The gameplay is very simple and responsive. The c button is the factory default for gas and the b button is the brake. Also if you don’t like the controls you can change them to your own likeings in the Options menu. The Saturn controller works good with this game and provides no problems controlling your car. If you choose and car with manual transmission you just have to press down on the d-pad the shift up and up on the d-pad to shift down which is fairly easy to remember and perform.

SOUND / MUSIC **10**

All of the sounds and music in this game are crisp clear and are very detailed. All of the sounds in this game are very detailed from the hitting of another car to the sounds of your engine. The voices in this game are very good sounding also and are very detailed. The music in this game is what I like. All of the music in this game is very good. The music is catchy and is great sounding. The song at the end of a race is very very good and also is catchy. The games music is sure to make you hum them in your dreams.

GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **8**

The graphics in this game are very good looking but not the best. The backgrounds in this game are very good looking and are full of detail. The cars you choose and race against look good. The levels are neat looking and are full of detail. The cool thing in this game is that you can pull into the pit stop and have them gas you up and change your tires to return your car into the new state with no problems although you don’t have to do this it just takes time away from you laps.

REPLAYABILITY **7**

This game suffers quite a bit here. With a lack of a two player mode and more tracks this game shouldn’t take long to get bored of. The game really needs a two player mode which could have made this game a lot funner and longer lasting. More tracks besides the three that are included with the game. This is a good game but if there was to be another in the series it would have to be a lot better than this to grab peoples attention.

CHALLENGE **10**

You can make this game as easy or as hard as you want. All you have to do is go to the options menu. The game is fun to play you can makes the computer players easier or harder to beat. The game should put up quite a challenge when you put the game on endurance mode which has 80 laps on the easy track before the race is over which should keep you busy for some time. The game is challenging to either a pro or an begginer which is a nice thing on this game.

BUY OR RENT

I’d say buy it because you can find it really really cheap. Funcoland has it for $1.99 which is a bargain. Read the review you decide.
