Wipeout

"Interesting Game..............."

The title says it all. The game's called "Wipeout," and I got it from my uncle with a bunch of his old games and his old system. This game looked like alot of fun, so I gave it a try. Here's how it went:

The object of the game is, well, it's actually kind of hard to tell, to be honest. Just by playing the game, it just seems plain out simple without a point. All you do is race these flying crafts through different courses, which have ALOT of twists and turns. You can also get power-ups to use to help you win, along with using the speed up arrows on the tricks to boost your speed.

Sound: 6- I hate judging sound. I'll say it in every review I do. But, this game's sound isn't good. They have crappy music playing in the background, and bad space craft sounding noise for your vehicle. It's bad.

Controls: 9- I like the controls to this game, they have enough to make it not simple, but not too many to make it too difficult! They're got boost, move, use your power-up, and the left brake and right brake. It's simple, but there are more than just two!

Graphics: 6- Meh, they're decent for the Saturn. I've seen better graphicted games for the Saturn, but they're still decent. I don't think the graphics of this game are a major factor in buying this game, to be honest.

Fun-Factor: 8- With the exception of the difficulty of turning without hitting the wall, this game is pretty fun to play.

Re-Playability: 6- The game is somewhat fun to play every once in a while, but you kind of have to give it a week or two between playings for it to be fun; otherwise it's just a good time passer. You can also beat the first difficulty of Championship mode and do the next one, but the game is pretty difficult on the first difficulty!

Overall, I suggest this game if you find it for a reasonable price, and like racing games with power-ups.
