"Offers high intense fighting!!!"
This is another one of those great fighting games on the Saturn. The game is great. The control is very simple and easy to use and theres plenty of moves to learn. The sounds and music in this game is very good and I really like it. The sounds are detailed and sound great. Fighting Vipers is a game that every fighting game fan should have the game has plenty of moves to learn and use. The characters each are very neat one guy has a skateboard and another has a quitar. The game is one of the best I’ve every played and I like it a lot. The game lived up to the hype I’ve heard about it and its way better than Virtua Fighter 2 and other similar fighters. The question in this game who will be the ultimate Fighting Viper?
STORY
Hyper-adrenal combatants in full-body armor, battling night and day in back-alley rings – only such young urban warriors as these have earned the right to be called VIPERS… Now, in Armstone City, the mayor has formally announced a fighting tournament on a grand scale, with the final bout to be help atop the staggering City Tower in the center of town. With City Tower as their ultimate goal, eight young VIPERS start down the path to victory, a path to which only one will see the end…
GAMEPLAY **9**
The game is very easy to control and is no problem there its just that the game seems to kind of go slow. Fighting Vipers works well with the Saturns controller and provides no problems. The control is fast and responsive. Fighting Vipers also has over 700+ movesl to learn and master, which should take some time to learn and perfect them all. The control of the game is solid and is great.
SOUND / MUSIC **9**
The games sound is very detailed and the music is great. Although I took a point off because its just the usual thing although there are some cool sounds and clips of music. Theres plenty of sounds in this game. Fighting Vipers has very detailed sounds and no sounds are missing although there are no voices. The sounds are detailed and you can hear the impact of a kick or punch. The harder the hit the louder the sound in Fighting Vipers. The music in this game is great. The music was well chosen and goes with the game.
GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **10**
For the Saturn I’d have to say these graphics are pretty good. When a wall breaks it looks pretty crappy but everything else is really detailed. The characters of this game look good and are in very great detail right down to the skateboard or quitar. The graphics are nice looking and are kind of blocky but they look nice. The levels are very detailed and look good to. The backgrounds look good and are also very detailed. The levels are really neat because they seam like 2D but are actually 3D. It’s really weird to play the game for the first time but its cool.
CHALLENGE **HIGH**
The cool thing in every fighting game is the ability to change the challenge of the game, which adapts the game to and player. Fighting Vipers can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be which makes it nice for begginers who haven’t played many fighting games. This game should provide quite a challenge for anyone who trys this game.
REPLAYABILITY **8**
This is a fighting game so its gonna get boring pretty fast. The game has some cool things to do and the two player matches are fun to play. The game should last quite some time for you to learn all 700+ moves and some of them can be really cool. The game should last for a while but not forever.
OVERALL
Any fighting game fan should have this game its definitely worth around $10 bucks which I got mine for that NEW. The game is for any fan. Read the review and buy it.
