Virtua Racing

"Crappy Graphics, Nice Control, Crappy Graphics!!!"

Well what can I say about this game. Virtua Racing is a good game with terrible graphics, the control of the game is good and solid and the sounds and music in this game sound good. The graphics are really bad they cars are square and the levels are pretty bad looking. The control in Virtua Racing is very good it’s accurate and responsive and I really like it. The music and the sounds in this game are also good sounding and are really detailed although some sounds aren’t very good. The game is really fun to play because you start off with a go-cart as your vehicle you race and it has a top speed of 90 m.p.h. I mean what kind of go-cart goes that fast. As you progress through the game and you win more races and keep in the top you will get to graduate as they call it to another car which is faster and sometimes harder to control. The game is fun to play even though the graphics are bad and the game is a very cool game to play.

GAMEPLAY **10**

I really like the control of this game its almost like it would be in real life except easier. The game is easy to control and also depends on what vehicle your driving. The go-cart is very easy to control because it isn’t as fast as the formula 1 racer. The game works well with the Saturn controller. The control is tight and smooth and the game is very good to play with the Saturns controller. Theres no problems with the control or anything and every things simple to do and provides no problems at all.

SOUND / MUSIC **8**

The sounds in this game aren’t very good and sound pretty bad. When you hit another car it doesn’t really make any sound at all. The engine is about the only thing you can hear. The music in this game is good sounding and goes with the game very well. Theres not really much for sound in this game and only a little bit of it is good. The music is very detailed and sounds great, and was a good choice for this game.

GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **7**

The graphics in this game are TERRIBLE they look really bad. The cars when up close are really boxy and from the chase car view they just look like a clump of color. The graphics are bad. The games detail is pretty good though everything is detailed down to every little thing. The games levels also look real bad although the backgrounds are pretty neat the levels are very crappy looking. Everything is very boxy and looks bad. The levels on the other hand are really neatly designed and I really like how the curves and jumps are. The levels are actually the same levels although the roads that were blocked off before are now open and the ones that were open are blocked off. It’s a nice way to make the tracks. The tracks are very neat and I really like them although most of them are set up the same way.

REPLAYABILITY **8**

Well it’s a racing game and its gonna get boring after a while of playing it. The game is very fun to play and the Tournament should keep you busy winning. The game is fun to play and it should last quite a while before it gets boring. The game is pretty easy to beat depending on the settings of the game and getting different cars and trying them out should be fun as well.

CHALLENGE **HIGH**

As easy or as hard as you want it. The game has the difficulty setting, which makes this game perfect for anyone who wants to play it. The game is easy on the easy setting and tough on the hard setting and each one should keep you busy. You find the game to easy well then turn up the difficulty and then lets see you.

OVERALL

Well I would get it and I got it for only $4.00 bucks new unopened! The game was definitely worth it and I would suggest this game to anyone.
