"Ever gone fishing with an fully equipped starship?"
Do you hate fish with a passion? Do you pilot a jet fighter? This game is for you.
Gameplay(7): Well, lets just say this is your basic shooter, no frills. The screen scrolls left to right, and you shoot stuff, particulary fish. You collect power ups, and most interesting about this is when you pick up 5 force fields, it upgrades to become stronger. It's kinda tough to do it though.
Story(5): Fish? Did you say fish? Yup the people of Darius are attacked by fish, and flee. You, in your Silverhawk-spacefighter, go to destroy the evil fish. Yes, fish!
Audio/Video(A=5 V=8): Why do game companies put music like this in games? The music is quite annoying. The graphics on the other hand are well done. Nothing that couldn't be done on the 16-bit systems, but some of the backgrounds in the game are something to look at. You might catch yourself gawking at the background, when you should be paying attention to the game, and saying "oooh, purrrdy".
Replayability(9): Do it over and over again! After all there are 28 branching stages to choose from, and each ending is differant (only slightly...)
To buy or to rent: Pick a copy up if you can find it cheap, but otherwise just rent it.
