Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire

"Another stellar game from Capcom"
GAMEPLAY--- This is an amazing 2-D fighter from Capcom. This series takes popular monsters and combines them with some original ones to make a horror like fighting game. Fighters like Demitri the Vampire, Victor the Frankenstein, and one of the cooler characters Bulletta (Baby Bonnie Hood). She looks like Little Red Riding Hood, she skips and sings when she walks, and then she'll pull out an uzi and riddle you full of bullets. New to the series is the Killer Instinct style life bars. You get 2 life bars to start. When you die your opponent bcks off and you get up with your second life bar. What ever your opponent had left when they beat you they will keep. Another thing is the dark force. By pressing 2 of the same strength buttons you will be put into a void where you will have special powers such as: flight, super armor, more strength and so on. Also there are 3 characters that weren't persent in the arcde version: Phobos (Hutzil), Donovan, and Pyron. All of the characters have super and special moves. Some of the special moves can be enhanced by the use of one of your EX bars. The EX bars are the same things as the special meters in Street Fighter Alpha, only in VS you can have 99 instead of 3.
STORY--- All of the Characters in the game have their own reasons for fighting. Some do it for love, some do it for power and some do it to get home.
AUDIO--- The audio in this game is stupendous. All of the voices are easily understood, all of the sounds are crystal clear, and all of the music is awesome.
VIDEO--- Again let's thank Capcom for the 4 meg RAM cart. The backgrounds in this game are amazing. From the street scene in front of the sub way to the ghost train. Everything is animated beautifully. The train even has a ghost conductor that is enjoying the fight while puffing on a smoke. The characters are drawn with percision that only Capcom can do. Let me tell you that the animation is staggering. There is so much animation that I found myself just watching the characters animate. Imaging watching victor flex all of his muscles whild charging electricity, or Jedah stand with his hands in his pockets and drip blood. The super moves are awesome. I wont give any of them away but, trust me they are a treat to behold. All of the colors are very vibrant, nothing looks washed out.
REPLAYABILITY--- I have been playing this game for months and I still never grow tired of it. there is so much to see in this game that you can't see it in just a few play sessions.
OPINIONS--- I think that this is one of Capcoms best franchises and one of their best games. There is practially no load time, the game never slows down and there are so many characters to use that I don't forsee myself putting the game down, ever. Also, i don't like to give secrets in the reviews but, I hink that this is important for those thinking of importing it. There is an english option as a secret. Once yu beat the game once, with anyone, highlight options, hold L and R and press start. A new options menu is revealed with an english language setting.
BUY or RENT--- For anyone that loves fighting games this is a must have. For anyone that likes Capcom games this is a must have.
