Fire Pro Wrestling S: 6Men Scramble is a wrestling game(duh!) for the Sega Saturn game console. Sadly the game was released only in Japan. This game contains heavy Japanese. However there are many websites and FAQs with complete translations. Not to mention you can rename all of the wrestlers in English. This is the best wrestling game I have ever played and quite possibly one of my favorite games of all time.

Gameplay (9/10)
Once you get used to the grapple system the game is great. Unlike most wrestling games where you press a button to grapple,all you do is walk up to your opponent and the grapple occurs. Right after the grapple you press a button in conjunction with a direction on the D-pad. Dependent on the button pressed is how strong the move is. If you try doing a strong move right in the beging it is going to be reversed. You have to work your way up to the strong moves. Gradually beating on your opponent. This adds an element of strategy to the game. Button mashers will ultimately lose at this game. You have to be skilled at it. You have to get the timing of the grapple system down. So in other words it takes practice. I got it right away but don't get discouraged if you are having problems. It is definitely worth the time. There are TONS of wrestlers in the game. Plus there is the best Create a Wrestler mode in any wrestling game so you can make just about any wrestler you want. More on that later. If you are worried about not recognizing any of the wrestlers,don't be. This game also has wrestlers from WWF,WCW and ECW!! It won't be hard finding a wrestler you like. If you don't find one make one! Like I said the Create a Wrestler mode is excellent in this game. You can set each individual move. You can set voices,Edit their look,name their Finsher(in english), and even make up their background. To say it is extensive is an understatement. There are many modes to wrestle in, including a death match and a UFC match. You even have to make your wrestler breath. If you don't he will get exhausted and beaten easy.

Control (10/10)
The control in this game is great. Each button does its job. I have no problems at all with the control.

Sound FX (7/10)
This is the main fault of the game. The sound FX are average. The music is pretty repetitive. Overall I could live without the music.

Graphics (10/10)
The graphics in this game are awesome! Some people may not agree because they are 2D but they more then get the job done. The wrestlers are animated really smoothly. There is little to no slowdown even with 6 wrestlers and a ref on screen at once!

Replay Value (9/10)
This game never gets boring. You can unlock various things. If you get bored of the default wrestlers create some new ones! Not to mention you can get a Multi tap and invite 5 friends over and have a 6 men battle royal!!

Rent or Buy?
Definite buy. If you like wrestling games and have a Saturn capable of playing imports then you owe it to yourself to get this game.

I recommend this game to wrestling game fans. It is truly a great game,you will not be disappointed!
