"Great game for platform fans."

Introduction

I'll start off by saying this is my favorite game for the Sega Saturn. It is extremely hard to find this game anywhere, so if you are fortunate enough to see this game in a garage sale, flea market, convention, or anywhere and if you have a Sega Saturn this game is an absolute must have game for fans of the Sega Saturn.

Story 10/10

This game's story is very interesting storyline wise. The game is about Mr. Bones he's a saxophone player that's a skelloton that DaGoulian wants in his evil army. Mr. Bones refuses to be in his army and naturally DaGoulian is upset by him not joining him, so DaGoulian tries to force him to join his evil army. Mr. Bones will do anything to not have to join his army, so he runs away trying to get away from DaGoulian. That is where this action packed game starts off.

Gameplay 8/10

The character, Mr. Bones is not that hard to control, but the enemies can sometimes be to much for you. When Mr. Bones gets hit one of his limbs will fall off, and you have to go get it and re-attach it. If he gets hit to much while only having his head he will die easily. This game is very hard, and took me a good little bit of time to beat it. I don't think I've ever played such a hard game. But the story's good, so it's worth it in the end. The way you progress through the game is just by completing missions. Nothing really different about how you progress.

Graphics/Sound 7/10

The graphics are not really that well done, even for the Sega Saturn they were kind of poor in the graphics department. The sound in the game was pretty good, a few crackles between loading screens here and there. In a mission you can actually play the guitar, so that is always good for a kick.

Playtime/Replayability 7/10

This game's playtime to beat the whole game might take you a good seven hours, and that's if you don't stop playing and I mean at all. The replayability is low, most of these kinds of games are though, because you won't feel the same effect at the end as you did the first time. But the mission where you can play the guitar is sweet, so you will always have something fun to do.

Final Recommendation

If you own a Sega Saturn, like platform games, and have time to play a really fun game you should definitely go pick up this game if you can actually manage to find it. Try looking at the flea market, garage sales, convention centers, try anywhere that you think there might be some older video games. It is a good game I hope you give it a chance.
