Introduction

This is a great game for people who like games on the spooky side. The only good thing about this game I'd say is the fear effect you get by playing this gruesome masterpiece. I'm a horror fan, so I naturally give it a decent rating just because of the fear effect. If you can actually find this game, I say buy it. Now on with the review.

Story 10/10

The story for this game I feel started other games that have a fear effect kind of thing in the game. You are a woman who's in this house, as you progress through the rooms you can find beetles in places, whenever you look into them you will se a part of an event, wish I could tell more, but I wouldn't want to spoil you. You will find corpses, gruesome scenes, and other horror elements. The story in itself is kind of confusing, but it will start to make sense towards the end.

Gameplay 4/10

The gameplay is atrocious. There is nothing exiting about it at all, you don't really have any moments in the game where you must constantly push buttons. This is more of a puzzle type game,but the puzzles are hard none the less. I think this would be a good reason for a person to hate this game, so don't buy this game think that the gameplay will even be half decent. The game is very hard to beat, though.

Graphics/Sound 9/10

The graphics are very good, especially for the Sega Saturn. The Sega Saturn did not have this good of graphics for many of it's games. I guess they subjected the half way decent gameplay for the graphics. The sound in the game is also very good, for the Sega Saturn. That also must have sacrificed the decent gameplay for the sounds. The sounds sound just like they would an actual person talking.

Playtime/Replayability 5/10

This game will take you about maybe ten hours if you don't take to many breaks. It took me around that many anyway. I think if you really like to just play games with gruesome scenes or gore you will enjoy playing this game forever, but if you're doing it just to see if it's fun I don't think you would enjoy playing it more than once or twice.

Final Recommendation

I think this game is purely for fans of games that just have some good gruesome gory scenes, so for you people who do look everywhere that sells Saturn, used, old games. For the people who are not into that stuff I say leave this game be it's not for you. I give this game a six out of ten, because of the atrocious gameplay, and this being only for gruesome gory scene fans.
