Introduction

This is probably one of the best robot fighting games around. I remember staying up for days playing this sweet game. This was a fairly popular game for the Sega Saturn. Decent graphics, good sounds, story, and anything else you could possibly think of. I suggest you fighting game fans pick this game up. Now on with the review.

Story 9/10

Okay, the story is you can pick any of the robots that you are allowed to select, then you have to beat all of the other robots.(And a few hidden ones)The story is you must make your way through the other robots in battles to get to the strongest, hardest, most difficult to beat robot, that wants to will destroy anything, and everything unless you defeat it. It's kind of a classic ''save the world'' storyline plot. Except it's with robots, so it sort of has a twist on the subject.

Gameplay 8/10

What you have to do is pick one of the robots, and each robot has it's own special set of moves.(Some have the same)Then with the robot you selected you go through stages defeating the other robots to make your way to the main boss. The game will gradually get harder with each stage, naturally. So there's nothing really wrong with the gameplay department, but they still could have done a better job on it.

Graphics/Sound 6/10

The graphics are just flat out horrible, kind of fuzzy, not well put together , so it makes the robots look kind of bad. The sound on the other hand isn't all that bad. When you make a function it sounds just like you would expect, kind of a grind sound, but none the less the sound was okay.

Playtime/Replayability 10

This game will probably take you about only an hour I'd say, not really that difficult. Except for a few fights. This is the kind of game that is the same thing over and over basically, so if you enjoy what you do in the game you will love to play this game now and forever. I still get it out every now and then.

Final Recommendation

I would strongly recommend people that like fighting games to buy this game. It's basically a fighting game, just with robots instead of people. To people that don't particularly like fighting games. I say rent it if you can manage to find this anywhere. If you are interested in buying or renting this game I suggest looking at the flea market, convention center, place that sells Sega Saturn games, or a place that sells old games. So I give the game an eight out of ten for overall.
