Lunar: The Silver Star

Intro
Lunar Silver Star is without a doubt one of if not the best RPG's ever made. It never gets boring even if you play it over and over again. It has everything an RPG could need, voice overs, cool sound effects, music, graphics, i could go on forever! now onto the review.

Story: (10/10)
The game has an entertaining storyline that will keep you hooked for hours on hours, Alex is the main character and he has a pet ''flying cat'' called Nall. Alex meets many people on his journey, some everlasting friends, some pure evil. The object of the game is to save a girl who is Alex'child hood lover, she gets kidnapped so Alex hops to the rescue and atempts to defeat the evil man who kidnapped her.

Gameplay: (10/10) The gameplay is very good, it has walking graphics with moving legs, arms and feet, the in game battles are really good fun and entertaining. Use different weapons to slaughter your evil enemies. Buy healing items from shops to cure you and learn different forms of magic spells to make quick work of your enemies. the spells come in many different ranges and elements such as fire and ice,

Graphics: (10/10) Considering this game was made in 1993, the graphics for this game are perfect, the character graphics are really good and colourful, the land is highly detailed and contains mountains and trees to make it even better. The water details are good but not perfect, they have the waves in the water but they are not too good. The game even has entertaining movie sequences which have voice overs and excellent anime graphics.

Music: (10/10) The music in the game is one of the best feature. You can hear different music in different places, you can here the main music for the different towns, play the harp or even listen to the singing ladies at the bars. The music changes at different events such as battles.

Sounds: 10/10 The sounds are perfect, who would have expected voice overs in a game from 1993? Most of the characters have voice overs including some of the evil people, The attack sounds are all the same but each weapon has a different noise before attacking.

Overall This is the perfect game for RPG lovers and i couldn't reccomend any other. i give this game a 10/10 overall rating due to it's superb features, perfect music and sounds and of course the wonderful graphics.

Rent or buy? Buy definatley, i doubt there is anywhere that rents the game anymore, if you ever see the game, make sure you get it, it is getting extremely rare.
