Shining Force CD

Review by DVeazey

"Best Sega CD game"

Most of the games on the sega cd wearn't very good, but this one stands out as one of the best rpg's of all time and is the best game in the shining force series.

The game is long, very long, when you start you will have a choice of picking two completly different quests and 4 difficulties (I recomend that you play on the hardest for the best experence). Also their are 2 hidden quests (but you need a memory card to access them)for even more playability. This is the only RPG that I have ever seen that is all action, you don't wander aroung looking for the next place to go but the game ottomatically takeyou to each battle. This may sound bad to RPG gamers that like a good story but in between battles the story is told, and actually it is pretty good (I don't want to spoil it).

Graphics; Compared to todays consoles like Dreamcast and N64, they don't look like much but actually many of the enemies look really cool and any of you who are farmiliar with other shining force games will know how that every time a character is attacked the game shows a little battle sceen. So actually for a old game the graphics are pretty good.

Sound; The music is good but other wise their is nothing special about the sound.

Fun Factor; One you figure out how to play you won't be able to stop. I had a friend who hates RPG's and he couldn't stop playing it until he completed the entire game!

Replayability; After you complete all of the quests you will want to do it again.

Overall; this is a game that is a must own, go out and buy a sega cd just to play this game, and well maby a few others , but look hard for this game because you won't be dissipointed.

10/10
