ALFRED: Master Bruce,
        we've picked up
        a suspicious
        sounding broadcast.

BRUCE WAYNE: Okay.Put it on
             the monitor.

HARLEY.Q: Hello,hello. This is
          The Joker Channel.
          And now for an urgent
          message from
          The Joker himself.
          Here...he...is...

THE JOKER: Are you watching,
           Batman? I've prepared
           some very special
           attractions at the
           Gotham City Amusement
           Park just for all
           those good little
           boys and girls of
           Gotham City.
           Tomorrow should be a
           real 'scream',if
           you know what I mean.
           Ha ha ha ha ha!

HARLEY.Q: Well, everyone, thanks
          for watching
          The Joker Channel.See
          you next time. Bye.

ALFRED: Master Bruce, this is
        undoubtedly a trap of
        some kind.

BATMAN: I know, Alfred. But
        I still have to go.
        Quickly! Prepare the
        equipment!

ALFRED: Of course,
        Master Bruce.

When you reach HARLEY.Q.

HARLEY.Q: Hi there, Batman!
          Welcome to The
          Joker's Funhouse.

When you reach The Joker.

BATMAN: I've found you,Joker.
        Surrender quietly!

THE JOKER: Ha ha ha ha ha!
           Don't be silly,
           Batman.
           I've prepared some
           particularly nasty
           surprises for you!
           Ha ha ha ha ha!

The Joker runs away onto a rollercoaster.

THE JOKER: Ha ha ha ha ha!
           This machine will give
           the greatest,and last,
           thrill of your life.
           Harley,if you would do
           the honors...

HARLEY.Q: Wow! Way to got,Mr.J!

Batman follows on another rollercoaster.

When Batman jumps onto The Joker's rollercoaster.

BATMAN: Your luck has run out,
        Joker!

THE JOKER: Rats!
           You persistent pest!
           Say goodbye!

The Joker jumps off the rollercoaster...

BATMAN: Okay, Alfred. I'm
        heading for the
        forest in the Gotham
        City suburban
        district.

ALFRED: The forest...?

BATMAN: Recently there has
        been an unusual
        increase in the
        number of trees in
        the area. Also, there
        have been reported
        sightings of bizarre
        plant life....
        If it gets out that
        this is the work of
        Poison Ivy,we'll have
        a major panic on our
        hands.

ALFRED: I believe you are
        correct.
        Good luck,sir.

When Batman reaches Poison Ivy.

BATMAN: Why are you doing
        this, Poison Ivy?

POISON IVY: The Human World
            doesn't understand
            the feelings of the
            Plant World. So I'll
            teach you!

BATMAN: It's true that
        destruction of
        the environment is
        a tragedy.
        But,it's wrong of you
        to threaten the Human
        World!

Poison Ivy: I don't care about
            the Human World!

5. Stage 3 Fowl Play *********************************************************
******************************************************************************
Robin: Batman! It's an
       emergency! There
       has been a break-in
       at the Gotham City
       Museum. It appears
       that it's the work of
       a large gang!

BATMAN: Okay, Robin. Meet me
        at the museum.
        I'll need your help.

ROBIN: Leave it to me,
       Batman.

ALFRED: Master Bruce, make
        sure you have all of
        your equipment.
        There may be some
        power outages.

BATMAN: Thanks Alfred.

After Batman and Robin meet there.

BATMAN: All right. Robin, you
        go that way.

ROBIN: Got it,Batman.
       Be careful.

When Batman unties a one of the museum's staff.

BATMAN: What happened? Pull
        yourself together!

STAFF 1: Thanks,Batman. We were
         attacked by some kind
         of birdlike thing....
         Please help the rest
         of the staff. There's
         an elevator down the
         middle corridor. Go
         down to the security
         room in the basement.

When Batman unties a security guard.

Security Guard: All of a sudden this
                guy burst into the
                room. He knocked me
                out and must have
                stolen my master key!

BATMAN: How many people are
        still in the museum?

Security Guard: There should be the
                Curator and four other
                workers.

ROBIN: Batman,I found
       the Curator.

CURATOR: Batman, take this
         master key. You will
         be able to open most
         every door in the
         museum. We can use
         this to get a rough
         idea of the location
         of the others. Use
         the intercom to stay
         in contact with us.

Robin: Batman,it looks like
       there's someone
       in Block-A
       on the 1st floor
       and Block-B also
       on the 1st floor.
       You are in Block-B
       in the basement.

After freeing one of the staff in block-a of the 1st floor.

Staff 3: Thanks,Batman.

After freeing one of the staff in block-b of the 1st floor.

Staff 4: Thanks,Batman.

After freeing another of the staff in block-b of the 1st floor.

Staff 2: Thanks,Batman.

After the lights go out.

BATMAN: ?...Something must
        have happened in the
        Security Room.
        The others must be
        in danger!

After Batman reaches the security room and unties Robin.

BATMAN: Hang in there, Robin!

ROBIN: So...sorry Batman.He
       took the Curator with
       him.

BATMAN: Don't worry.
        I'll rescue him.

Robin: Batman,it looks like
       the Curator is
       in Block-A
       in the basement, and
       you are in Block-B
       in the basement.

After Batman finds and unties the curator.

BATMAN: Are you okay?

CURATOR: Thank you,Batman.They
         are going after the
         display on the 2nd
         floor. You've got to
         stop them. The secret
         combination is 7171.

BATMAN: Leave it to me.

After entering the display room on the second floor.

BATMAN: Penguin! This is the
        end of the line.

THE PENGUIN: Nah! You're always
             interrupting at the
             wrong time.I think
             I'll feed you to him!

After defeating a vulture and catching the Penguin.

BATMAN: It's over.
        Give up, Penguin.

THE PENGUIN: Oh,but you're so
             wrong.Let me show
             you my latest
             invention...!

******************************************************************************
6. Stage 4: Tale of the Cat **************************************************
******************************************************************************
BATMAN: Alfred,I'm going to
        go into the city to
        make sure everything
        is okay.

ALFRED: That's a good idea,
        sir.

BATMAN: I've got a feeling
        that something is
        going to happen
        tonight.

ALFRED: Please be careful,
        Master Bruce.

When Batman enter an elevator.

BATMAN: What are you doing
        here,Catwoman?

CATWOMAN: Batman,
          stay out of this!

BATMAN: I can't turn my back
        while you commit
        a crime.

CATWOMAN: Don't get in my way!

After fighting with Catwoman.

CATWOMAN: You're very good.

After catching up with Catwoman.

CATWOMAN: Don't you think
          you're taking this
          a bit too far?

BATMAN: You thought you were
        going to make a clean
        break, huh?

After catching up with Catwoman again.

CATWOMAN: Hmmm. Well, let's
          finish this now.

BATMAN: Okay. Come on!

******************************************************************************
7. Stage 5: Trouble in Transit ***********************************************
******************************************************************************
TWO-FACE: Okay, you mugs,
          let's go!

SUMMER: This is Summer
        Gleeson.
        There has been a
        robbery at the Gotham
        City Bank. The
        criminals fled
        the scene by car.
        We have received
        unconfirmed reports
        that the ringleader
        is none other than
        the infamous
        Two-Face.

ROBIN: Batman!

BATMAN: We'll go after them
        in the Batmobile!

After you catch up to Two-face's car.

TWO-FACE: Okay, you mugs,
          let's go!

ROBIN: Batman,let's hurry!

BATMAN: Okay. Come on.

After you catch up again.

ROBIN: Found them!
       There it is!

BATMAN: Good Hold on tight!

******************************************************************************
8. Stage 6: Perchance to Scream **********************************************
******************************************************************************
SUMMER: This is Summer
        Gleeson. I'm standing
        here in front of the
        reception hall where
        a party is being held
        in honor of the
        Gotham State Univer-
        sity's professors.
        There is a great
        sense of uneasiness
        here due to the
        presence of a large
        blimp in the sky.Just
        what is this strange,
        mysterious blimp?

BATMAN: This must be the work
        of Scarecrow!

ALFRED: What do you mean,sir?

BATMAN: He's got a grudge
        against the Universi-
        ty.He's been planning
        his revenge and now
        he's going to use
        that blimp for one of
        his gruesome
        experiments.

ALFRED: Gruesome experiments?

BATMAN: Gas. One whiff and
        even the most upright
        citizen can be turned
        into a criminal.
        He plans to spray it
        from the air!

ALFRED: Well then, please be
        careful,Master Bruce.

After arriving at the reception hall.

BATMAN: Everybody get out of
        here!
        Scarecrow is on his
        way!

SCARECROW: You're too late,
           Batman.Now they see
           you as the enemy.
           Unfortunately,you
           can't hit innocent
           people,can you?Ha ha!

Batman reaches the roof and Scarecrow's blimp is flying away.

ROBIN: Batman!It's me,Robin!
       Hurry, jump on!

BATMAM: Robin! All right,
        I understand.

ROBIN: The Batplane cannot
       get close enough to
       the blimp. You will
       have to use your
       grappling hook to
       get aboard.
I know you can do it!

BATMAN: But of course!

When you reach Scarecrow inside the blimp.

SCARECROW: Goodbye, Batman!

BATMAN: Scarecrow,wait!

After Scarecrow takes off in a plane and Batman jumps on top of it.

BATMAN: I caught up with you,
        Scarecrow.

SCARECROW: You again?You're
           always interfering
           with my plans.I won't
           forgive you again!

BATMAN: I won't forgive you
        either.

******************************************************************************
9. Stage 7: Riddle me this... ************************************************
******************************************************************************
THE RIDDLER: Batman, how are you?
             The other day, I
             presented the
             completed version of
             my "Maze of the
             Minotaur" cyberspace
             game to the Police
             Department. But
             somehow the Police
             Commissioner's
             daughter seems to
             have become lost in
             it. It appears that
             she will be in there
             forever...unless you
             think that you are
             clever enough to
             solve my little
             labyrinth.Do you care
             to give it a try?

BATMAN: I'll use this
        computer to network
        with the one at the
        Police Station. I
        should be able to
        access "Maze of the
        Minotaur" from here.

ALFRED: Yes, Master Bruce.
        Don't forget to
        prepare first.You may
        need to blast through
        some walls.

After entering "Maze of the Minotaur".

THE RIDDLER: Welcome,Batman,to my
             Own private cyberspace.
             Welcome to the
             "Maze of the Minotaur".
             If you can solve the
             riddles of this maze,
             I will free Police
             Commissioner Gordon
             and Barbara.Good luck.
             You'll need it.

After you step on a question mark on the floor.

THE RIDDLER: Very well then,riddle
             me this,Batman!
             What is the shortest
             distance between
             a point in Nome,Alaska
             and a point in Miami,
             Florida?

If you answer incorrectly.

THE RIDDLER: If you can't answer
             this type of question,
             then your future looks
             quite bleak.

If you answer correctly.

THE RIDDLER: Very good. But it's
             easy once you realize
             the earth is round.

After you open a door by pulling the C switch.

THE RIDDLER: That's right.In music,
             the C key has no
             sharps. The A has
             3 and the D has 2.
             You're putting up
             quite a good fight.

When you a Minotaur.

MINOTAUR: This is the final
          riddle.
          I have billions of
          eyes,yet I live
          in the darkness.
          I have millions of ears
          yet only four lobes.
          I have no muscles yet
          I rule two hemispheres.
          What am I?

THE RIDDLER: H.B.? Human Brain?

BATMAN: It has billions of
        optic and auditory
        nerves.
        4 lobes and
        2 hemispheres
        and it is the only
        thing Edward Nygma
        respects.

THE RIDDLER: Curses!
             I'm impressed.
             Minotaur,show them
             your power!

After defeating the Minotaur.

THE RIDDLER: Well,you've made it
             this far.
             But everything before
             was just a test.
             The real game begins
             now!
             How about a relaxing
             game of chess?

BATMAN: Anything you do is
        just a waste of time.

After moving along the chess board.

THE RIDDLER: Now I'll present you
             with something I think
             you'll get a real
             charge from.

After moving further along the chess board.

THE RIDDLER: Why,you! You've forced
             me to show you what's
             up my sleeve!

BATMAN: If you're ready, then
        come here and fight!

******************************************************************************
10. Stage 8: The Gauntlet ****************************************************
******************************************************************************
GORDON: Batman, something
        terrible has
        happened! The Joker
        has escaped with the
        others from Arkham
        Asylum! They want you
        to meet them at the
        Old Warehouse by
        Gotham Harbor.

BATMAN: Hmmm.This is serious.

GORDON: They're trying to
        lure you into a trap.

BATMAN: Maybe so.But I can't
        let them get away.

GORDON: I suppose not.
        Best of luck,Batman.

After entering the Old Warehouse.

THE PENGUIN: Very stupid of you to
             show your face again,
             Batman.I'm going to
             pay you back for all
             the grief you've
             given me.

BATMAN: I think I'll send
        your bird back to its
        nest.

THE PENGUIN: SCREEE!

After defeating the Penguin and moving on.

SCARECROW: I'll give you a big
           dose of my special
           gas!

BATMAN: You should learn some
        new tricks,Scarecrow!

After defeating Scarecrow and moving on.

CLAYFACE: Batman!
          I will smash you!
          I won't let anyone
          stand in my way.

BATMAN: Clayface! You really
        think you can beat me
        so easily?

After defeating Clayface and moving on.

BATMAN: Catwoman!
        Why are you here?

CATWOMAN: Batman, I don't want
          to fight you, but I
          won't let anyone
          stand in my way.

After defeating Catwoman and moving on.

MAN-BAT: I'll put you to rest
         here!

After defeating Man-bat and moving on.

HARLEY.Q: Ladies and gentlemen.
          I'm pleased to intro-
          duce your favorite
          and mine, the one and
          only...The Joker!

THE JOKER: Sorry to keep you
           waiting!
           Today, I'd like to
           bring to you, Batsy,
           some good old-
           fashioned PAIN.
           Are you ready?

BATMAN: Surrender before it's
        too late, Joker!

After beating the Joker.

ALFRED: Congratulations,
        Master Bruce.
        I knew you'd be
        victorious.
        I'm sure those villains
        won't be so foolish as
        to try again.
If I may say so, sir,
        it seems that things
        were too easy for you.
        Perhaps you can think
        of another way to
        challenge yourself?

BATMAN: Yes, I know, Alfred.
        I can't stop now.
        I can never rest until
        justice is served.
