NEWEST UPDATING CHANGES!!!!!!!!! 2001-03-19

Things I changed lately was giving myself a new name(from Sunshine to
Yakuza) gave the faq a fresh intro text(last action hero in bigger size, on
top of document), added more text about the faq and the game in the Info
section, I deleted a lot of enter-clicks, making the faq a little shorter,
with better formatting. (I thought they were pretty unneccessary, just
wasting paper). I added some text at the walkthrough and a few minor
changes you maybe won't notice :)

1. INTRODUCTION:
<><><><><><><><><>
How you doing! This is Yakuza's faq to the game Last Action Hero. I know it
is maybe not that cool game (in fact bad one, read my review).

I did this one mostly because I haven't seen one before to the game. And I
figured out that this game is quite hard, so I thought maybe I could help
someone beat it. Exscuse me for the grammar or/and spelling errors, I know
there are many, but I hope they are not too bad and not too annoying.
Don't get upset, it's just a faq. I've done a few faqs and reviews more, so
if you wanna check it out, just look at the recognition-list at the same
site(www.gamefaqs.com A very handy site, isn't it?)

Then all stuff I did will come up. All of this faq/boss strategy/walkthru
is made only by me, Yakuza. I never used any codes, other faqs, help from
other people or companies, everything is just my experiences about the
game. I did it the best I could. I hope I included the most things. And
again, sorry for all spelling errors.

If you wanna say something, corrections, have any tips, mail me at:

About the game:
****************
Yeah, as you figured out this is about the game. The game is to Super
Nintendo, and based at the movie Last Action Hero with Shwarzenegger(I hope
I spelled right now ;). The game is not so good, in fact very bad. But the
music and the humor makes it worth playing a few seconds.

***************
About the faq:
***************
Well, I made it most because nobody else had(as always). The game(Last
action hero) is quite hard to beat so if anybody needs help I hope this faq
can help.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A: My review of the game(could be found at www.gamefaqs.com)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Review was made 2000-11-11

Last Action Hero. That was a movie released at least 7 years ago, and it
became no real hit. Then why, oh why did Sony Imagesoft have to do a game
about it? If they'd have known the result, they'd have trashed the project,
locked up themselves inside their houses and dreamt nightmares about
creating such a game like this. But the fact remains; "Last Action Hero"
became a Super NES game, and a bad one. Or maybe the worst. No, I'm not
kidding, L.A.H. really sucks. If you still care about reading why and so
on, you got a full review ahead. See it as a warning or just a description
of the Super NES dark side. I'm going to be real negative to this game,

¤Challenge:¤
L.A.H. is not easy. Okay, there are not much more than 6 stages to beat,
but the enemies are really hard to beat, and let's not talk about the
bosses. So what makes it difficult then? Well, you'll face several enemies,
like baseball guys(really mean guys, come slappin' you with a baseball
bat!), knife men, guys throwing bottles, and hardest of all; gunmen. Now,
facing them one on one is pretty easy. Then you just can stand and hit
them, they don't have a chance. That's how the game is in the beginning.
But after a while, they team up with each other(for example, 2 baseball
guys and one gunmen) and then it's suddenly much harder. You'll lose energy
all the time, because it's hard to avoid their attacks and before they die,
you're wounded a lot. Ok, there are a few energy recovering capsules, maybe
4 in the whole game. But for anyone playing L.A.H, I got one piece of
advice; don't give up! I've beaten it about three times(can't believe I
wasted my time with that!) and I know that only practice is the way. At the
bosses, you have to figure out what technique to use, and then you can make
it. The control contributes to the challenge, since the character is so
difficult to control the enemies are much harder to face. L.A.H. is a tough
game, not so long but hard.

Score challenge: 9.2/10

£Storyline:£
(Intro text)
"Glued to his seat watching a sneak preview of the new movie "Jack Slater
IV", Danny Madigan is mysteriously catapulted towards the screen in a
blinding light. Opening his eyes, Danny finds himself clutching the
sidewalk outside a school building. The School is being held under siege by
the psychotic Axe maniac "the ripper". Standing in front of him is Danny's
idol, the last action hero.........Jack Slater!!!!"

The main story follows the movie with the same name(last action hero). As
you figure, it's like above(if you've seen the movie, you know what the
story is). Well, the storyline might be "Last Action Hero"'s strength, even
if it's not good. If the entire game could've been like this, it would have
been rescued. The story's okay...

Score storyline: 7.2/10

+Controls:+
You are Jack Slater, former action hero that is supposed to be a real tough
guy, with all kind of fighting techniques. I'm not if he is, he looks more
like an ol' retired golf player in his 40s... Oh well, the attacks you can
do is roundhouse kicks, low kick, punch, split jump. The roundhouse kicks
are the strongest ones and you'll use them most. The punch is weaker but
quicker. When Jack does a split jump, he jumps up and kicks in two
directions with his legs, one for the right side and the other to the left.
This attack can hurt two enemies at one time, if you time it. The controls
is not L.A.H.'s worst catagory, but I can't say it's good. The hero is hard
to control and some bosses are almost impossible to beat thanks to it.

Score control: 3.1/10

=Graphics:=
Horrible. If you just entered the room, without knowing the name and for
what system this is for, you could have thought it was for Nintendo's
previous console(nes). I promise, it looks like that! The character + the
enemies look like something a 5 year old kid could draw, the backgrounds
are nothing you'll recognize, and forget about special effects, there
aren't any! Nope, you can't find a SNES game with worse graphics(at least
not for a 2D platform game).

Score graphics: 1.3/10

Music/sound:
L.A.H. only advantage. Even if it's not good, the music is okay. The music
composer must had been a hard rock dude, because it really sounds like
that. Crappy tunes but a little like you can listen to anyway. The music is
fair, not better or worse. The sound is ok, the sound effects are baseball
swings, knife slashs, etc. The sound effects are okay, maybe a little - for
the quality.

Score music/sound: 5.3/10

Gameplay:
Hm.., yeah there is one thing I can say is positive with it, the humor.
L.A.H. offers you a few laughs at the pathetic gameplay and the characters'
designs. After that, it's not much more. But the humor disappears quickly
when you start playing, you'll soon see an annoying and irritating control
that all the time create problems, and so on. You get trouble soon, like
how to beat the bosses, jumping from platforms to platforms, beating
enemies, etc. There are two kind of stages in L.A.H, one car sequence and
one 2D "action" platform. At the car sequence, you'll drive in a mercedes
and bust some cars. Watch out for cars passing by because they throw mines
etc. Maybe the most "fun" scene. The 2D platform scenes are fun first, but
after half an hour you'll just turn of the SNES.

Score gameplay: 2.1/10

Replay value:
Ha ha ha! Just think for yourself if you'd want to replay a crappy game
like this! Well, the only reason I can figure out if you'd replay it would
be if you want to listen to the music or just have a few laughs. Besides,
the game is so hard you maybe don't want to replay it again, after beating
it.

Score replay: 1.7/10

Summary:
Looking for a hard game, no matter how bad it is? Then you may consider
buying L.A.H. for 3$ U.S. or less. Otherwise, just skip this one.
DEFINITELY don't buy if for 5$ U.S. or more, then you'll just get angry,
wasting your money on something like this. The fair catagories that's ok
would be the music, story and the challenge(if you enjoy tough games that's
not fun to play). Everything else sucks.

Overall score: 0.5/10

TOTAL SCORE(On a scale between 1-10): 1/10

There are a few buttons used in this game. Here are all of them:

,,,,,,,,,,
A-button:
,,,,,,,,,,
You jump and kick in split. Useful when two or more enemies come at one
time in different directions. Is also handy against the helicopter.

,,,,,,,,,,
B-button:
,,,,,,,,,,
You jump up a bit. Useful to jump over enemies, gaps etc

,,,,,,,,,,
Y-button:
,,,,,,,,,,
Punch. Useful against enemies etc. To punch is much faster than kicking,
but not that strong. Could be handy in fast situations.

,,,,,,,,,,
X-button:
,,,,,,,,,,
Kick. Useful to kick enemies. Strongest attack.

Forward(grey moving-pad): You move forward.

Back(grey moving-pad): You move backwards.

,,,,
Up:
,,,,
Nothing, except directing the elevators.

,,,,,,
Down:
,,,,,,
Duck. Could be useful to avoid things.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Down and B-button:
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Low kick. Useful when striking enemies low. (But I never uses it. Never
mind it.)

Ok, here's the list of the enemies, a description how they look, how hard
they are, and finally some help if needed. All names are done by me, about
how they look as soon as you recognise them. The diffcultness is at a
degree from VERY EASY, EASY, QUITE EASY, NORMAL, QUITE HARD, HARD,
DANGEROUS, QUITE DANGEROUS ,VERY DANGEROUS. If the enemies are Easy, they
are often very easy, no problem at all, if they are Dangerous, you usually
have a problem with these guys. (And remember that this game is quite hard
to beat, so if I sat out Dangerous, the enemies are dangerous.)

All enemies in the game:

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Knife-man-------Enemy Parked car------Trap
Base-ball guy---Enemy Truck-----------Trap
Bomb-man--------Enemy Gun-man---------Enemy
Wheel-----------Trap Blue car(van)---Enemy
Red smashed car-Enemy Red sports car--Enemy
Police car------Enemy
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

--------------
Knife-men:
--------------
ENEMIES
A guy coming with a knife in his hand. White t-shirt, blue pants, black
hair. These guys could be dangerous if they are many, and come from
different directions. Then they start to attack you. Tactics here could be
needed. If they are many, you need to kick the one most far away, until the
other one(s) come. When they approach, jump over them and start kicking
them. When they come at you, you kick them or jump over them again.
Your choice. You gotta let the feeling take overhand here. That's what can
save you. But a tips is to jump over them if they are many, and start
killing them from the other side.

Punching could be recommended, because that's quite fast. Only punch when
you just jumped over the guys and they haven't turned around yet. Then
punch. These guys are hard when coming many. When only one coming, stand
cooly and wait for him to come. Fire a kick(X-button) and he'll get hurt.
Repeat it 3 times and he'll die. But do it with feeling, or you'll miss!
There's much about feeling in this game. If being many, they are very hard,
if being one, they are Normal. Overall, the Enemies are
HARD.
---------------
Baseball-guy:
---------------
ENEMY
A dude quite big with a keps on his head, carrying a baseball bat.
He starts to swing his baseball bat against you. Then you gotta be cool.
Time it and run towards him. If doing successfully, you run behind his back
and behind him. Now, before he turns around, kick him. Now he'll turn
around, doing the same again. After 4-5 kicks he is probably dead. If they
come many, jump over them or run thru(behind) them and their swings.
Shouldn't be no problem, they are not too dangerous. When being many, they
are normal, when being one, they are easy. Overall, they are
EASY.
------------
Bomb-men:
------------
ENEMIES
Guys throwing bombs at ya. Wearing a green coat, brown pants and yellow
hair. These guys are quite easy. Just run towards them. When you are in
range, fire a kick. After 3-4 they should give. The point with these guys
are when you're close to them, they can't attack you!!! They can just throw
their bombs when you are far away. So stand close, kicking at them. When
they are many, they are a little bit harder, but quite easy too. Just jump
over them, kick them, and they'll die. When being many, they are easy. When
being one, they are very easy.
Overall, they are
VERY EASY.
-----------
Gun-men:
-----------
ENEMIES
Guys coming with a gun in their hand. Wearing a grey suit. Black hair.
Comes up at stage 4(after the racing with the car.) These guys are very
easy when they are alone. Just jump over their attacks(bullets) and when
you're close, start kicking. After about 4-5 kicks they give. You can also
duck under their attacks, just beware if they bend down cause then they hit
you, even if you duck!! But they are easy when alone. But when they are
many, things get more comlicated. Now they shoot from different directions.
My advice to you is to concentrate and kill one first, then head for the
other(s). Because when you killed one, you'll just have to face one bullet
from one direction, and that's much easier. Jump or duck under their
attacks, kill one of them with kicks, and then head for the other(s). They
are quite hard when many. When being alone they are quite easy. Overall,
they are
NORMAL.
--------
Wheels:
--------
TRAPS
Not an enemy, but sort of a trap. a wheel rolling in, kills about one
energy. Not dangerous at all.
EASY.
------
Cars:
------
ENEMIES
There are sequences when you drive as a car. Then, some other cars will
start loading up troubles for you. Here're the same thing as above, just
instead of the car-section.
DANGEROUS.
-----------
Blue Car:
-----------
ENEMY
Looks like a van, blue color. Drops out bombs. Watch out for these bombs,
they are dangerous. Not only because of the damage they deal, but the risk
they do when driving and you hit a bomb and a parked car comes up. Then if
hitting a mine, you probably won't get away from the parked car and get
smashed, a life less. So watch out for these mines!!! The thing you could
do to kill these blue cars is by jumping up at them in a trampoline or if
they drive at you in a trampoline. Make sure to kill these cars quickly,
because if not doing that, they drive so fastly you probably won't get
them, and they will start spreading out mines to kill you.

And then you can't get the car, you won't stop the bombs. So make sure to
kill 'em fast when they appear(I guess you know what I'm talking about, if
you played the game.) These car are very dangerous when many, especially
because they can get you "paralyzed" by the bombs so you drive into a
parked car. They are dangerous too when being alone, but not that
dangerous. Overall, they are
VERY DANGEROUS.
------------------
Red smashed car:
------------------
ENEMY
A red car that is a little bit trashed. A guy sitting at the back. This car
drives quite fast and might push you out in the parked cars. However, this
are the only ability it got. It can only do this, so it is not so
dangerous. If being many, they are not dangerous. Just trash them by
jumping at the trampoline so they ram into you, or you ram into them. Just
be sure to not get pushed into a parked car, then these enemies should be
no problemo. Overall, they are
QUITE EASY.
-----------------
Red sport-car:
-----------------
ENEMY
A red sportcar looking nice. I guess this car is just out driving. Not
really an enemy, but I posted it anyway. This car might push you into a
parked car, so that's the only dangerous movement it can do(like the car
above). But be careful anyway. Kill it by using the trampoline like the
others. These cars are overall
QUITE EASY. They are almost the same as the ones above.
---------------------
Sort of Police-car:
---------------------
ENEMY
A car looking like a police-car. These guys you gotta watch out for. They
shoot at you, if they come up on the screen. Make sure to kill them
quickly(as the van) because when they settled up at the screen, they drive
fast and you can't get them. Then they start to shoot and you'll lose
energy. A lot of energy!!! So if you see a police-car coming up, destroy it
directly with the trampoline so you get rid of the problems. If being one,
they are dangerous. If being many, they are very dangerous because then
they shoot so many bullets at you it's hard to avade. These cars are
overall
DANGEROUS.
--------------
Parked cars:
--------------
TRAPS
Cars parked at the road, not moving. Varying form and color. Not really an
enemy, but I posted it out anyway. Look out for them, because if you drive
in at them, you'll lose all your energy and life. And then you gotta start
over the stage(the lives are very precious in this game, so don't waste it
away). So watch out for them. All you gotta do is avoid them, nothing else.
Here I can't set out how dangerous or easy they are, it all depends on the
situation and stuff.
---------
Trucks:
---------
TRAPS
Huge cars with white color, drving slowly. Not really an enemy, but a kinda
problem. You'll recognize them at some places at the stage. Be careful so
you don't drive or jump into them, because then you'll lose all your energy
and die(like if hitting a parked car.) All you gotta do is avoid them, and
you won't get harmed. (Easy to say, harder to do it.) Here I can't set out
how easy or dangerous these are, cuz it all depends on the situation.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
E: Boss-section(bosses) +tactics
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
There are a few bosses in this game. All are posted here, like the enemies
above. There are some info, tactics, and some other things.

1. The first boss at the first stage

""""""""
BOSS 1
""""""""

---------------------------
"The gang at the streets"
---------------------------

------
Info:
------
I really can't say this is a boss, but in one way it is. Now you are at
level one, a stage looking like a car-trashing place with many trashed cars
in the backgrounds. You'll enter the boss when seeing an energy-capsule
come down. There will be many guys running around at the end of the stage,
different people. Some are knife-men, others are base-ball guys, and the
last ones are bomb-men. All of them creates a dangerous and deadly
combination when they fight together. So I guess you can consider this as a
kind of boss.
---------
Tactic:
---------
First time you meet these guys, you'll probably die. I did. They are hard,
and if not using any tactic, or special movement it is even harder. But
keep trying and you'll get them. I hope this tactic will help you, but in
fact the most important thing here is to be a good tv-player and never give
up. If you're not that fast with your fingers, you'll never beat this gang,
no matter how much I "help" you with this faq. Well, here we go!

First, I give you an introduction of what's going on and some help with the
first guys, then you're all on your own cause I can't tell you how to play
later, because things changed with different enemies that I'm playing
against. First a single knife-guy comes up. Wait one second and there will
be two knife-men. Start hitting them with your kicks. If doing
successfully, you should have at least 3 kicks at them before the base-ball
man coming up is about to hit you.

Run/Jump over him and start punching him(kicking takes too much time)as
much as you can before the knife-men show up. Then you gotta jump over them
again, and hit them in either a kick, or two/one, three punches. Now, more
guys will come up. A tips is to use the jumping often, cause that's the
only way to get away from the gangsters without getting hit.

Now, I can't say how you gonna play because I guess you are in different
positions, you killed the wrong guy, or all of them, and then other guys
than I do will show up. I don't mean you did wrong, but not the same way as
I do it. All I can tell you now is that you should use jumping and
kicks/punches a lot. Kill the knife-guys fastly, because they start a lot
of trouble with their knives. That's all I can help you with, good luck!!!!

The Boss(or gang) is Normal.

Difficultiness: 6/10 1 is very very easy 10 is as near to impossible
you can come(impossible)

Jack the ripper

Info:

In fact, this boss is soooo easy. You are now at level 2, a long stage with
elevators lifting you up and many doors to break. You just gotta know the
secret(the secret is no secret.) He is dressed with boots, yellow jacket
and have black hair. On the wall in the background "The ripper" is written.

Tactic:

This is the introduction of the fight, how you do in the beginning to get a
good start. Then you are all on your own cause he might do different
movements, like boss 1. They varys much so I can't tell you what to do.(But
at this boss it isn't that neccessary anyway). When he shows up, just run
towards him without hesitating. He swings his axe against you, but if
running successfully, you'll get behind his swing and not harmed. Now you
are behind him and start to kill him. (Maybe a kick.) Now, there are free
play with your new toy( I can't tell you more to do) so just kill him. A
few tips is to go behind his swings and hit him. And when he jump up and
swings his axe, just stand cooly near him and punch him. This guy you
should have no problems with. He's VERY EASY.

A huge helicopter you'll meet on the roof of the stage when there are many

absolutely. No doubt. You should be very happy if destroying it, because
then the rest is so easy, I can say you cleared the game.

---------
tactic:
---------
The tactic you need is to kick back his missiles by using the split-jump(A-
button). If you kick the missile in right height and time, it probably will
go back at the helicopter. Again, this boss is quite hard you probably die
often. I can't say how to do with this boss, because it doesn't follow any

Info:
------
After killing "the ripper" you'll fall down into a hole and find yourself
at ground. Here Benedict will show up and shoot balls at both sides.
---------
Tactic:
---------
This guy is easy if you do the tactic right. Just run around and until you
see a small flash that you know Benedict will come up, punch there quickly.
Now, you hit him and he loses energy, plus that he never had time to fire
his balls so you is not harmed. Now, Benedict will teleport away and appear
somewhere else. Run around and when you see the light, punch. Repeat this
until Benedict gives. He is really easy, just do this and he got no chance.
Well, now you've beaten the game!

Well, Enjoy the last sequences and think about you've just beaten a quite
hard game!!! (Thanx to the helicopter)

H: Walkthru(the whole game from beginning to end)
***************************************************************************
Yeah, this is the walkthrough. I done it quite fully, if you know what I
mean. I said where the enemies come from, what they are, how to do at some
situations and more. If you got any problems with the enemies, check out
the enemy sections. I did not give you any help here about the enemies, you
can read that at the enemy-section. I included the bosses down here too,
because it is nicer to have it, then you don't have to search in the boss-
section. Maybe a little error like if saying "the enemy comes from the
right" instead of saying that it comes from the left as it should is
existing, but I hope that is no bigger problem. As I said before, I can't
guarantee you will beat this game with this walkthrough or faq, but I hope
it will maybe be to some help. This walkthrough is not so very handy,
because in this game there're no problems about knowing where to go, etc
but I did one anyway.

Well, enjoy!(Exscuse me for all grammar errors.)

Start of WALKTHRU!!!

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Stage 1: The car-trashing place (First Stage in the game)
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Here, you start playing at a quite scary place(think yourself being out
there. No, that's not the neighbourhood I'd like to stay in). You have
exactly 310 sec when you start playing to finish this stage, or else time
will take you out. Don't worry, I never have time-crizes at this stage,
it's not that long. Head right at your beginning journey. Now, screen will
stop and the first enemy you'll face is a Knife-man, coming from the right.
Kill him with the kicks(X-button. Time it.) After him, a base-ball dude
will show up from the left. Kill him as you want(one tips is to kill him
when he's outside the screen, because then he can't do anything. This
tactic is very useful and can be used in other situations in the game. )

When you're done with him, take the energy(even if you're not hurt, you get
score) and then head right. After a while the screen stops, a knife-man
comes from right. After him, Base-ball guy comes along from left. And
after him, knife-man will come from left. Now, head right. Here's your
first battle with many enemies at the same time. First out is a knife-man
coming from right, and slightly after a base-ball guy from right too. Kick
the knife-guy and wait for him to come back. It's like this, knife-men are
a bit faster than base-ball guys, so if you wait a few seconds, the knife-
man will be in range again for a kick, without you getting harmed by the
base-ball guy. You'll understand me if playing the game. It's all about
timing. Kick the knife-man and wait for him to return. After killing the
knife-man(you may use other tactics also, just kill him) kill the base-ball
guy.

He's much easier on himself. Base-ball guy will appear if you kill both at
the right. And a knife-man from left. And after you defeated him, one more
knife-man comes from right. After the battle, head right. Now, you'll do
your second multiple(fight with many guys). A knife-guy coming from right,
first. Kick, kick, and kick before the base-ball guy approaches too near
from the left. Kill the knife-guy in some kinda way, then go for the base-
baller. After the base-baller, a knife-man appears from left. And from
right comes a base-ball player. Kill them all and take the energy. Head
right now, and you'll be at your first boss(triple fight, figthing three
people all the time).

Here's how to kill the boss. I set it in because it is nice to have it here
anyway, because then you don't have to take a stop in the walkthrough,
searching for the boss-section.

1. The first boss at the first stage

"The gang at the streets"

+++++++
Info:
+++++++

********
Tactic:
********
First time you meet these guys, you'll probably die. I did. They are quite
hard, and if not using any tactic, or special movement it is hard. But keep
trying you'll get them. I hope this tactic will help you, but in fact the
most important thing here is to be a good tv-player and never give up. If
you're not that fast with your fingers, you'll never beat this gang, how
much I ever "help" you with this faq. Well, let's start. First, I give you
an introduction of what's going on and some help with the first guys, then
you're all on your own cause I can't tell you how to play later,
because things changed with different enemies that I play against.First a
single knife-guy comes up. Wait one second and there will be two knife-men.

Start hitting them with your kicks. If doing successfully, you would have
at least 3 kicks at them before the base-ball man coming up is about to hit
you. Run/Jump over him and start punching him(kicking takes too much
time)as much as you can before the knife-men show up. Then you gotta jump
over them again, and bust them in either a kick, or two/one, three punches.
Now, More guys will come up. A tips is to use the jumping often, cause
that's the only way to get away from the gangsters without getting hit.
Now, I can't say how you gonna play because I guess you are in different
positions, you killed the wrong guy, or all of them, and then other guys
than I fought against will show up. I don't mean you did wrong, but not
like I do it. All I can tell you now is that you should use jumping and
kicks/punches a lot. Kill the knife-guys fastly, because they start a lot
of trouble. That's all I can help you with, good luck!!!!

Walkthrough:

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Stage 2: The apartments (Second stage in all the game)
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
You find yourself in a high building, with many apartments. Now, you have
to walk up to the room to get to "the ripper". You can see his name written
at the wall at many places. But you will not get up there unharmed. Many
guys are waiting for you. Start your journey by heading right. Soon, screen
stops and you have to fight some guys. A knife-man coming from right, a
bomb-man coming from right and a base-ball fan coming from left. After
killing everybody, go right. Break the door by kicking or punching, your
choice. Then head right. Go up with the elevator and then go left. Break
the door, then head left again. Now you'll face some enemies again.
A bomb-man coming from left, and a knife-man coming from right. After it
will come a base-ball guy from right. After killing everybody, head left
again. Break the door. Go on. Go up with the elevator, head right. Break
door. Fight again!!!! This time it is a knife-man coming from left,
base-ball guy from right, and a bomb-man from left. After, head right.
Break the door. Head right and jump up on the platforms to the right. Here
you'll get some energy.

Take it even if you're not hurt, cause it gives score. Head right as much
as you can, then you'll see one more energy-capsule. (A tips is to look out
for the time at this stage, coz that can be a problem. Usually when I come
to the ripper I just got 20 sec left, so you don't have too much time at
this stage. And it's uncool to waste a life at that simple way.)

Now you're on a basketball-court. Head left for a long time. No enemies
attack you here. Go down with the elevator. Go right until you have to
fight. This time you face a triple(three guys at the same time) so be
careful. A knife-guy coming from the right, and one bomb-man and one base-
ball fella. Head right. Take the energy. Break the door. Go right.

Then go up with the elevator. Head left. Here, you'll face two bomb-men.
This is easy, just kick them until they give. After a base-ball fellow from
left will come, and one more bomb-man from right. Head left afterwards.
Break door. Base-ball guy coming from left, bomb-man coming from right, and
after a while a bomb-man more from left. Continue to the left. Break the
door. Head left. Break door. Continue left. Take the elevator up to the
roof. You're near the ripper now!! Go right, until a few bad guys attack. A
knife-man from left and bomb-man and a knife-man coming from right. After a
while a base-ball player comes from the left. Now after the fight, you just
got one more to kick at this stage; The ripper!

I often have quite short of time left when I'm here, so I give you an
advice how to defeat the ripper fastly. Just start punching him fastly all
the time, and he dies fast. And when he's outside the screen, kick him with
your strongest attack, the roundkick(X-button). Here's the tactic how to
get him:

Stage 3: The racing
""""""""""""""""""""""
Middle sequence, text in the game:

" A calling card arrives from Benedict in form of a red pick-up truck
trigger . Happy pshycho in the back. Big Mistake!"

I don't tell you much about how to do this stage, just a few helping tips.
Always try to kill the dangerous cars(Blue van, police car) as fast as you
can, because they can create problems. And be careful with
the parked cars and the trucks, they can kill you one life. Use the
trampoline to destroy the cars. Always drive at maximum speed, because then
it is much easier to avoid traps and enemies(driving slowly it is hard to
evade parked cars and trucks). Be concentrated and I hope you can do it.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Stage 4: The party-building(fourth stage in the whole game)
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Middle-sequence, text in the game:

"Slater's late for the funeral. Something smells funny, and it's not only
Leo. "

I call this the party-building because on the roof there are palms,
sunchairs, yeah looks like a beach party up there. Here you'll also face
the first gun-men in the game. I'm not 100% sure I did right with that
elevators(many of 'em!) but I hope so. Anyway, it shouldn't be a problem.

Here we go!

Start heading right. A knife and a gun-man attacks you from the right. And
after a while, one more gun-dude shows up at the left. Head right. Gun-man
from left, and one more gun-man from right. After, a knife-man appears from
left, and one more knife-guy from right. After all fights, head right.
Now, jump up at the platforms and take the energy before it disappears.
Then take the elevator(Now, in this game you're the hero, and heroes is not
inside the elevator, so stand up at the roof of it!) Now, some tips are not
"trying to be cool" here, because then you might get off the elevators and
have to start over again. I usually think this is real boring, standing on
an elevator waiting for something to happen, so I start to punch and do
stuff at the elevator while it's moving. I know if pushing the jump-button
I will get off the lift(and that is real annoying), but in some strange
reason I always come over the B-button and get off. So a tips is even if it
is boring, concentrate you and stand still.
Stand at the elevator.

Jump over to the platform at the right. From there you take the next
elevator(one cool thing here is if you stand with one leg outside the
platform and one on it, you won't fall down and the elevator will catch you
up, then you won't need to jump up at it. So stand with one leg outside).
Get at the platform and get down. Jump over to the next platform, long
down. Go left and get up at the next platform. Go over to next platform.
Now, you will be standing at a place two elevators going up and down. You
gotta time it and when you're right, jump over to the next. Here you maybe
have to wait a few seconds, but don't jump and risk everything, if you fail
you have to start over again(and you don't got time for that, so be cool.)
Jump over to the next elevator. Jump from the elevator to the platform at
left. Go left. Get on elevator. Get up to next platform.
Go right. Go up with the elevator. Go right at the elevator and hopefully
you're up ON the roof soon.

Take the last elevator up to the roof. Here, you'll see that palms I was
talking about. Continue to the left. No rest for our hero(!), three guys
attack ya. A gun-guy comes from right, another gun-guy from right, and one
knife-fella from left. After, take the energy and continue to left.
Knife-guy to left, knife-dude to the right, and one bomb-rocker(bomb-
thrower) to the right. After that, gun-man from right will come to get
some, and a knife-guy from right. And one gun-man more from left.
Head right, and here you'll meet the small problem in this game; the
chopter!

This is a short racing sequence. It is much more easier than the other and
shorter( I never died on it), so just keep driving and you'll get thru it

Text after the racing:

" Slater tracks Benedict down to the premiere screening of his own movie

""""""""""""""""""""""""
Stage 6: Big building
""""""""""""""""""""""""
This stage is quite long, but shouldn't be no real problem. There are quite
many guys to defeat here, but they are all quite easy(some sort of
compensation from that chopter!). Well, the stage is long, but here's the
stuff:

Go left. A bomb-man and a knife-man will attack you from the right. And a
base-ball fella from right. And after that, a knife-man and a wheel will
come from left. After the battle, go left. 2 knife-guys will appear from
left. And a bomb-man from left. A wheel comes rolling from right. After
that, head left. A knife-fellow will come from left, a bomb-guy from left,
a wheel from left, a wheel from right, and a bomb-dude from right. Keep
heading left. A bomb-dude, a base-ball player, and a knife-guy will attack
you from the left, a wheel comes from right, and a bomb-guy comes from
right.

After, head left. Base-ball player from left, knife-dude from right, and a
knife-guy from left. After all the fight, head on to the left. A fire-
guy(bomb-man) knife-man and a base-ball guy will come from left. After you
defeated them you'll get some energy. Head on your journey by stepping to
the left. A bomb-man will come from right. And a base-ball player from
left. A wheel and one more base-ball player comes from left too.
Go on. A bomb-man from right. Keep going left. In the background to
recognize yourself you can see a toilet. Go in the elevator to the left.
After you're come up, go right. You can see you are in a movie-kinda place.
You'll get some more energy.

And guess what happens now; you'll meet a knife-man from right. And a gun-
man from left. In the background you can see at the wall" Last action Hero
Coming Soon". Head right. Meet a gun-man from right, and another one from
left. Keep going right. Face a gun-man from left and a knife-guy from
right. (At the background, you'll see popcorn). Now you'll get some energy.
Now, you gotta run back all the way to where you came up from. There the
elevator waits for you. Run right. Keep going left. All enemies are killed,
so don't worry, just keep going. When coming up to next level, go right. A
knife-and gun-man will attack you from right. Go right. Knife-and gun-man
attacks from left. 2 gun-men attacks from left. A knife-dude from
right.(They never get tired of fighting, do they?) Go right.Take the
energy. Now you know what waits, a long walk to the left. Go left for a
long time. Use the lift to get up. Head right. A knife and gun-man appears
from left. Go right. A knife-guy attacks from right, and a gun-man from
left. A knife-fella from left, and a gun-man from right. Go right. Gun-man
left, another one from right, and a knife-man from left. Take the energy.
Head left a long while to the lift. Go go left. After coming up, you're at
the roof. Go right.

(Does this stage never ends? Just keep going, there's not much left.) Take
the energy. Face the gun-man from left and the 2 knife-guys from right.
Kill the gun-man from left that appears. And the knife-man from right. Head
right(Soon over). Kill the gun-man from left, and the 2 knife-men from
right. And finally, you'll meet an old friend.

Just keep going and going until you come up at the roof. Believe it or not,
you'll meet your old friend again, "the ripper". He got no "special powers"
since last time, so just defeat him. Here's how to do it.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
Boss 4: Stage 6
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

"The ripper" again.

%%%%%%
Info:
%%%%%%
You're walking on a stage with many different enemies. You'll meet the
ripper at the end of scene again. He got "no added special powers" so he is
exactly the same as the first one, so just kill him. He's very easy,
exactly as the same.

"""""""""
Tactic:
"""""""""
This is the introduction of the fight, how you do in the beginning to get a
good start. Then you are all on your own cause he might do different
movements, like boss 1. They variates much so I can't tell you what to
do.(But at this boss it isn't that neccessary anyway).
When he shows up, just run towards him without hesitating. He swings his
axe against you, but if running successfully, you'll get behind his swing
and not harmed. Now you are behind him and start kill him. (Maybe a kick.)
Now, there are free play with your new toy( I can't tell you more to do)
so just kill him. A few tips is to go behind his swings and them hit him.
And when he jump up and swings his axe, just stand cooly near him and
punch him. This guy you should have no problems with. He's EASY.

Walkthru:

Now, after killing the ripper again, you'll fall down from the roof, into
another room, facing last boss.

Fight well!

""""""""""""""""""""
Boss 5: Stage 6
""""""""""""""""""""

Benedict

-------
Info:
-------
After killing "the ripper" you'll fall down into a hole and find yourself
at ground. Here Benedict will show up. He has red coulor, and shoots balls
at both sides.

<<<<<<<<<
Tactic:
>>>>>>>>>
This guy is easy if you do the tactic right. Just run around and until you
see a small flash that you know Benedict will come up, punch there fastly.
Now, you hit him and he loses energy, plus that he never had time to fire
his balls so you is not harmed. Now, Benedict will teleport away and appear
somewhere else. Run around and when you see the light, punch. Repeat this
until Benedict gives. He is really easy, just do this and he got no chance.
Well, now you've beaten the game!! That helicopter was the problem, wasn't
it?

Well, Enjoy the last sequences and think about you've just beaten a quite
hard game(thanx all to the chopter!!!)

Text after killing Benedict:

"With the Ripper and Benedict defeated Jack Slater has yet again saved the
day, only this time it was for real."Danny and slater makes their farewells
and Slater returns to the fictional world where he is more known
as.........The Last Action Hero!"

I worked a bit with this faq(like writing all the names of the guys making
this game, all text in the game and so on), so I would be glad if you post

me a mail at lufia3@hotmail.com if you plan to put it on your website.

* Do not change anything in it in some kinda way.

* Don't plagirize it(Like ripping my name off and put yours there instead,
then I get mad.)

Q: I can't beat that chopter!!

A: Yeah, I know it's quite hard. I gave you all help I can. Read the boss
section, u gotta time the split-jump.

Q: Are there any codes to this game?

A: I don't know. Check out www.gamefaqs.com . If there are any, they should
be posted there or nowhere.

Q: Why did you buy this game, I mean, you knew the game was bad.

A: I didn't buy it. My "homie" tricked me and we traded games a long long
time ago. He got my game "Zelda3" and I got "Last Action Hero"(Snes) ,
"Metroid (to Nes)" and Skyblazer(Snes). Guess I did the big mistake. Well,
it doesn't bother me anyway, I bought Zelda 3 back later.

Q: You said this game was quite hard, I beat it first time I played it.

A: The game is quite hard, if looking at the chopter. All other stuff is
pretty easy.
