I. The Version History

II. The Introduction
Well, he is the Blue Bomber. He is the one and only Mega Man! In this
new adventure, that is in the future, Wily is no more. We can now live
in peace. NOT! A new threat has arrived and his name is Sigma. He has a
loyal and dangerous servant, Vile and 8 Maverick Hunters. Their
objectives are the same as Wily's: to take over the world. However there
is one hope, Mega Man and his band of heroes. Mega Man has risen to the
challenge and he will destroy the evil forces that have plagues our
world. I sound really corny, don't I?

III. The Bosses
Like most of the previous Mega Man games, there are 8 sub bosses and
then you fight multiple levels to get to the very main boss, Sigma. The
sub bosses or Maverick Hunters, have significant power that Mega Man can
take and defeat other Maverick Hunters with them. The bosses, in no
particular order are Launch Octopus, Chill Penguin, Spark Mandrill,
Sting Chameleon, Armored Armadillo, Storm Eagle, Flame Mammoth and the
Boomer Kuwanger. Please note that in the walk through that I do, I will
have the bosses in the exact order that you should defeat them in.

IV. The Controls
They aren't really that different from any other Mega Man game. There is
a fire and a jump button. You can still charge up the X-Buster for a
even more powerful shot. However, there is no slide. In the old Mega Man
games, if you pressed down and jump together, you would slide. However,
there is one power up that does give a slide like ability: the Dash.
That will be in the next section. There is also a new aspect to this
game. Mega Man has the power to climb walls. Just jump toward a wall,
hold the direction that you were going and keep hitting jump. Mega Man
will start scaling the walls. This will become a valuable skill to
master. It will help you dodge a lot of attacks when you are fighting.
Also if you fall into a hole, if you are quick enough and get toward the
side of a hole, you can jump back up to safety.

V. The Power Ups
There are numerous special power ups in this game. I am not talking
about the little capsules that refill your life up or anything. There
are 4 Dr. Light capsules hidden in the game that give you special
powers. They are the Dash, Helmet, Armor and X-Buster upgrades. They
will all contribute to beating this game. If you also noticed this
before, Mega Man's life bar is really small compared to the Mavericks.
There is a remedy. They are called Heart Tanks. There are 8 of them,
each one in a Maverick's level. As in the walk through, I will point
each and every one of them to you. Each heart tank will increase Mega
Man's life bar by three pixels. There are one more special power up: the
Sub Tank. There are 4 of these, hidden among the 8 levels. They have the
power to store up energy capsules that you get in the game and when you
select them and use them, they will refill Mega Man's life bar to some
extent. This is really useful in the game.

VI. The Walk Through
The first level isn't really a big level. I should say it is a pre-level
and a warm up level. That is exactly what this level is: a warm up
level. Test your controls out and see if they work or not. Make sure
everything is okay. Now the first robot you encounter will be this
little spiked thing. It is easily destroyed. As you go up, there will be
a blue robot who will either shot two missiles at you both at different
heights or he could send two ball of electricity racing toward you on
the ground. Just jump over everything and continue to pound him with
your X-Buster. Keep on heading straight. You will keep on facing the
Spike Bots. Just destroy the spike part and the robot will die. Keep on
heading forward and blasting everything. You will come to a point where
you will face a giant robot hornet. Blast him a few times while dodging
his bullets and missiles. As soon as you destroy him, he will fall,
causing the floor to break away. As you fall, don't move under him or
else you will be squished dead. Now as soon as you land, head toward the
wall in the right and keep jumping up. You will be back on track and
keep going forward.

That is all for now, Mega Man X fans. I will update this soon!
