Can you tell me how to erase a game save file? (Without overwriting it, I want to empty the file slot) already looked for it on FAQs but didnt found it

.It's often the case with SNES games that no such option exists. Mostly, the closest you can get is by simply starting a new game and saving as soon as possible. I don't know about Super Mario RPG specifically, though, so I might stand corrected.
Other means that sometimes 'work' unintentionally (i.e. erase save states without wanting to) such as dropping the game, using magnets etc. are potentially very harmful to the cartridge itself, so I strongly advise against that.
