Review by Decoy_Squid

"Wait, you mean I'm not supposed to wander around?"

I found this odd game in a an old pawn shop. Since I like collecting old games, I picked it up. As soon as I started the game, I had no idea what the hell to do.

Gameplay: 3/10

This game is odd. A wrong kind of odd. You find yourself wandering around in the middle of nowhere, encountering huge monsters that you can't fight against at all. When you figure out that you're supposed to go jump into a dungeon that's also in the middle of this wasteland of boredom and crappy bongos. You'll find yourself in dungeons trying to dodge green ghosts and all other sorts of strange monsters.

The hit detection is also very bad, making your strange Indian man die if he comes close to something that could kill him.

In this strange land, the movement is awkward, and you're often wondering what the hell you're supposed to do.

Because of the game's unique 3D modeling, it become very hard to tell up from down as you accidentally wander into traps, walls, and ghosts. It's also very annoying that you die because of one tap with the enemy.

Oh my god! Physical contact! It buurrrrrns!

The whole game feels unimaginative. Dungeon crawling, uninspired enemies, you barely have any means of attack. Oh, which means that unless you know how to kill those giant beasts that roam this huge plain, you're pretty much dead. They give no helpful insight on how to slay these beasts.

Graphics: 6/10

The graphics are often colorful and have a unique style to them, but they are more annoying and clashing than anything else. The sprites look really odd, and your little guy has only 1 facial expression of "Never blink." It's quite amusing to see him confronted by a 2-story tall giant and he doesn't flinch.

Controls: 6/10

Very awkward, often forcing you into enemies. It becomes quite annoying very early on, and it stays that way throughout the whole game. This could have easily been improved.

Overall score: 3/10

This game is just not good. It makes no sense, it's boring from the get-go, and it provides no sense of reward throughout the game.

Rent or Buy?

Neither. This game is not worth the time. There are better puzzle games out there.
