"Worst. Game. Ever."

Quite frankly, this game was terrible. I got it for the purpose of completing it and creating a walkthrough for the FAQ Bounty, but now I can see why no one has yet. The game is entirely unbearable.

STORY: 1/10
I didn't get too far in the game, but in the slight distance I did make it in the game, there was absolutely NO story. The closest thing to a story the game gives you is a name of the place that you are in, and a slight description of the monsters that relentlessly attack you.

GAMEPLAY: 1/10
There is no way to know your controls when you start the game. Half of your buttons seem to do absolutely nothing. Luckily, they start you in a room where no one can kill you so you can figure out your controls. You then first move to the woods, and a monster comes and kills you from behind. You start again at the beginning, and this time you turn to fight the monster, only to realize you can't fight. You can simply see a description of the monster while it kills you. By the time you turn to run, you're dead again.

GRAPHICS: 2/10
Well the graphics for this game aren't too bad..... who am I kidding? This game reminds me of Shadowgate for the NES, only worse. Seriously, this game should NOT have come out for SNES. Actually, the NES is a bit too advanced for it. Atari, anyone?

SOUND: 3/10
The sound quality is pretty typical... of an NES game. The music isn't bad, though comparing it to CastleVania is like comparing a Fisher Price keyboard to Beethoven, but you've got one "thump" sound effect. That's it. Yeah. I've heard better SE on a GameBoy. Like I said though... the MUSIC isn't bad.

REPLAYABILITY: 0/10
This game has no replayability. At all. For a game to have replayability, it would have to have 'playability,' and this doesn't. This is the only time I've ever rated something with a ZERO.

BONUS: -2
I always give out bonus points when I review a game. Unfortunately, this game is SO BAD, it actually gets NEGATIVE bonus points. Really, just because it sucks and is unplayable, I'm gonna give it -2 points. I simply COULDN'T PLAY THIS GAME.

AVERAGE SCORE: (1+1+2+3+0-2) = 5/50 = 1/10
This game has received the worst score I've ever given, simply because it is the worst game OF ALL TIME. I've never played anything else THIS BAD. Really.

In short, this game is DREADFUL. If you are thinking about buying or renting this game.... don't consider buying a shotgun. SUICIDE would be more fun than Obitus. Honestly. I would go into more detail on how bad this game is, but I don't think it's really all that necessary. And…. Take my word for it. I played this game after reading reviews similar to this one, and all I can say is “God, they were soooo right.”
